he opens up about his background before cementing a position with ferre and says he was very gifted in drawing and painting so even his brothers and sisters when they had homeworks about that he'd do it for them and when one of his uncles who was the most comfortable in family and who paid his classes passed away he decided then to focus into music which he was already practising at home on makeshift guitars then in street group like la geneva(alongside genta bill clinton ) and several others and ending up in promise musica which had the likes of caludji,mboshi,theo mbala,alpatshino,tosha bass,pathy bass,polystar...then his close friend mimiche and him became session musicians for reddy when he'd come to kin to promote his solo albums,then go back to europe and at some point mimiche went to maison mere and pretty much all the promise musica except him and alino biongo and soloist augusto liyanza( who are both in zaiko now) had gone to big groups touring in europe so people from their area were bantering him and his friend late mimiche convinced him to come to maison mere and since it was complicated to have access in la zamba back then mimiche once they arrived in front of la zamba would give him his bass to pretend he is his pire petit who takes the guitar up to stage like all the main guitarists of the group had so that he could enter la zamba without being bullied
then one day since mimiche's car did not arrive from europe yet he had to take taxis and one their way to take taxi they meet ferre and mimiche introduced him to ferre and said he was a guitarist and he was so impressed that he barely could talk and ferre like the way he played whene he tested him so he became ferre's private guitarist at home for a while and he was worried that he was remaining a private guitarist while he wanted to earn himself a name and mimiche bantered him but he knew a bodyguard from their area who had joined maison mere and was the "sensation" of the moment there as he freshly became a champion in kinshasa,and the day he was tested coincided with the test of linda who is now kakol's wife and the arrival of kabose and that celeo to banter him was only doing big stars animation in his dance parts
at that rehearsal werra took ages to arrive,that bodyguard took him to stage which was not a easy thing and went walking around in la zamba to ask for money to donors and another bodyguard threw him off stage into the crowd and by the time he return he did not see him marchouse on stage but somewhere in the crowd waving his hand,and he invited him back to stage and that he lied that he wanted to piss so he went down to protect the other bodyguard maitre torowa force because the one who brought him in had already beaten maitre ninja to protect him and went back to do matolo and torowa bombed towards him again and he jumped in the crowd himself that time and werra arrived the bodyguard could not find him on stage and saw him waving his hand once again and took him back to stage and that day he was dressed like a hip hop artist thanks to a friend who had a brother in europe who stole clothes for him and the bodyguard told werra i have a great guitarist for you boss and werra already liked him by his looks while the rhythm guitar lumumba had "strange "dressing and werra introduced him "i have a petit here he is very good listen to him" while he did not know him at all and he impressed but was often axed and spent months without playing,and he should basically have had the edge over lumumba for double zenith tour but elliott did 12 on him by trashing often his letters to apply to join the group which wasted quite some time and saw him getting sidelined
one day werra gets angry on stage and orders all the musicians who were tested recently and that day to leave stage but recognizes him and asks where had he gone then he made his first official appearance with maison mere
in the meantime reddy who had officially left viva la musica looked to gather again the musicians he had told to perservere in practicing and wait for him whenever he comes(marchouse,mimiche and co) and is informed he has gone to maison mere and he goes to their house to convince his mother(his father died in 89)to send him back to him and that in maison mere they sacrifice people,so the mother got scared and tried to convinced him and they clashed over it because he started to have hope in maison mere so he left house to continue being in maison mere but reddy kept insisting to him and said ok at least if he does not join the group if he can come help to recruitment since he knows the songs well and he came but that place happened to be close to sankara's house and sankara and some other maison mere staff and fans saw him and made hand sings to him that if he comes to maison mere again they'll kill him so thats how he stayed with reddy and he falled out with reddy because he made the remark to reddy that he had restarted a same sentence in two songs and that he had given him freedom as artistic director to give his ideas and not be yes men because they fear him,and it worsened when he told reddy it was a mistake doing second album without vocals of musicians because they did not give their heart like in first which is why it flopped so he was suspended for 3 months for disobeying to his boss and he was unhappy because he did not get his new year bonus given he barely received salary and he had 10 dollars only on him so hewent to tv at jacky ndala's show where reddy musicians have some free time and to jacky's surprise when he announced ladies and gentlemen this is marchouse a very talented musician the vice chef d orchestre and artistic director of la casa do canto and he said straight away i came to say i am no longer will reddy
he should have been with les marquis if they returned together as planned and he remembers when ferre returned earlier and recruited people when bill arrived zacle brainwashed him that he should not accept being like an employee of ferre as ferre was really taking the leadership and he accepted as he was so hot headed and big headed so he went to sign his own deal with skol where zacle had a percentage
later ferre went to quartier latin and he waited for ferre and when ferre did his group second time he came and won over other rhythm guitarists tested and says blaise createur who he was with in reddy's group also came(he had just been rejected by djino liaki in a test for fally's group so as he could not return to reddy he went to ferre reddy called but since he did not want to return he went to lacoste's group)
he insists throughout interview that he reveals untold stories in memory of his friend mimiche

I had no idea Reddy Amisi had a band, I always thought he recorded solo albums with session musicians. Can someone tell me about Reddy's band and the members that were apart of it?

It was a makeshift band to interpret albums in congo while viva was in europe but if you talk about the actual band he became president of there was guys like marchouse blaise createur who are the most famous from that group

i forgot to mention that part where he says werra sent him to work with kapaya in private and when he went to kapaya's home, kapaya himself opened and said flamme is not there and later on they started to get along
