They have been too much absorbed by the overshine Werra gave to Bill. To be honest if Celeo had the same space of Bill Celeo would have been like Youssou N'Dour now or Akon or even more. I don't know why but I feel EkoKota is the guy who really taught Wenge MMM the Atalaku art. I mean the style of Wenge Mmm came from EkoKota while BCBG is more of singers atalaki. Genta knew hoa to sing the same for Caludhi, the same fir Fusee, Cellulaire and Ben Laden while Wenge MMM is pure energy and emotions

Yes. His line in Generation Bercy make me go stand up and dance whenever it is on so yes he is one of the best Atalaku in QL history. Heritier also did the atalaku in Wenge, JB and Werra also but they never produced somthing high as Fally in Generation Bercy (the last 2:31 minutes) those I think are the most famous minutes of the 2000's along with Solola Bien and KoYimbi Ko so yes Fally needs to put there. To me an Atalaku can even be a singer originally but if he makes a great crie he makes a great crie.

I think that you guys are too much strict honestly. For example we hear Generique by atalaku 100% of the time so why we never call it the Lobeso Song the Diego Cao song the Kabuya song etc.? The nature of Congolese music is to be flexible and interchangeable, Sonor is a guitarist but he have started as a dancer, Luambo Makiadi used to sing, dance, animate and play the guitar, Celeo did some amazing cries and had some success with Rhumbas, etc. Etc. To me those 50 seconds are the thing that make me go to dance those pure 50 seconds are joy and happiness and make me go crazy to be on the dancefloor and dance and tht is an ability that Atalaku has. Sk Fally is one of the best Atalakus even though he is a singer

My conclusion with this debate is that it first goes with your favourite Band... therefore for me to analyse well who is the best animator I have to look at it in Maison Mere perspective.
1. Celeo and Bill will forever be on top of the pile. I don't listen to other artists so I'll give it a benefit of doubt but Celeo is the greatest Atalaku I have ever come across. He has catchy cries, how he controls concerts. Listen to Attention Obus by Mbuta Likasu. How he carried Maison mere when Bill left. Since then we've had average Animators and lost that Maison Mere Bang.
All in all, away from Maison Mere Ekokota is the Chief....Genta is a beast tooo I listen to BCBG sparsely

Yes. I think that what also hold him back was that he was a terrible dancer. I mean don't get me wrong he used to work hard a lot but simply hadn't the natural talent of Bill to make dances from nothing and make it onto big choreographies or dancing in general. I don't know why but beside sone people not many atalakus can dance never wonderstood why. Brigade also struggling with dancing too

@Manzambi - Brigade could dance but he was just lazy I will share links to the concerts where he did solo dance after HERITIER and for that concert fans cheered him more (it was in Zimbabwe) he also used to dancer at Quartier latin. Jumping and spinning lol but with time he lost all the energy
@jv critic - Manzambi did well to add Fally as an atalaku he animated in many song ( koffi old song I have forgotten the title, Generation Bercy and his best for me is the part on Brigades song in affair detat 7.Code pin) I never knew it was him and till today that part is my favorite part of the song

And what I personally think makes him popular than every other musician of his generation is is the fact that he sings in most of his Generiques interesting lines also *Lebre pacours 2,*Ecole, *Control, *Original, *Bakandja. Kkkkkk its not everyone who understands why the band owners sing on their generiques lol especially is Southern Africa where only generiques make it....... Most people this side thought Koffi could not sing until he did Selfie and Papa ngwasuma.
