first one is the concert Wenge BCBG in Abidjan just after having finished their first Europe-tour and concert at Palais du Peuple, before the release of Titanic. The other one is Wenge 4x4's concert at Hotel Intercontinental, presenting their then new album Anges Adorables.

I would like to know more about 4x4 Europe (American) tours. If i'm not mistaken They went to Europe in 1990-91(recording Kin E Bouger), 1992(Recording Pleins Feux & Kalayi Boeing), 1994(Bataclan, recording of Les Anges Adorables vol.1 & vol.2), 1995(USA tour, recording Pentagone in Europe), and the last tour was in 96-97 (concert Aquaboulevard, recording Feux de l'Amour), Is that right ? I would like to know how long these tours last exactly because i know more about the carré magique era tours but not really about wenge musica tours.

Most tours were only lasting 3 months. Those who were lasting long, were lasting just 4 months like the one of 1996/97 and 1990/91.

Pleins Feux was recorded in 1992, but got released in 1996. Because they had problems with Kongolo Mobutu who blocked the release of that album.

He did the same thing with a Zaiko video when Malage and Nyoka Longo were singing Amour Suicide in 1994.

If I remember well, he said that he wanted financial support to upload those concerts on youtube.

There is a video from the 80's where they play several tunes that were released later. There is a big Mobutu portrait on the wall at the back of the stage, that is what I remember from the scene. The concert seems interesting, but the upload I checked has terrible sound. I wonder if that concert is available somewhere with decent sound. I would love to see that uploaded.

I remembered wrongly, it is not the concert with the big portrait, rather like the setting similar to the Mulolo video clip. It's a shame almost nothing can be heared from the solo guitar.

This is btw the way Wenge 4x4's first concert ever to be broadcasted live on tv. The concert made them get the "revelation de l'annee" award of 1987. It was just before they started recording the mulolo-album the same year. I never understood, why they didn't decide to make a re-issue version of that concert on dvd. Because its a historic concert. The same for their unreleased album of 1986 with Aime Buanga & Zing Zong and the remix album of Mulolo from 1990.

Wait this song is no comment shengen? It was recorded during this time and they released it in the Pentagone album in 96? Sounds familiar, some of the lyrics. Ahh I'm also hearing kin e Bouge as well. Is this a medley?  :O

Aah why not starting a new thread and ask about the song.

This the original version of Kin E Bougé, which had to be released in 1986 along with the other songs they recorded at Studio Veve, having Zing Zong on the lead (before went to Europe)It was dedicated Papy Kimbi and Soul Gbemani. Then after the arrestation of 1989, when they tried to get in Europe, JB modified the lyrics to sing about that incident. From then they started to sing it in concert and recorded it in 1991, in 1992 they made a remix-version called Le Monde est Méchant as diss song against Wenge El Paris. After that JB decided to record the first couplets of the original Kin E Bougé as No Conment Schengen adding other couplets (Malé, Malé & Ah Amida, etc.) plus de new sebene of Alain Makaba in the Pentagone-album.
