I became sad when I saw Lengi Lenga.
I liked Wenge El Paris's part. seeing JDT, Manda Chante, Marie Paul, Alain Mwepu, Dello Bass, Alain Zing Zong, Doukoure and Yuyu on stage.

It's a shame that Nouvelle Image of Doudou Kibinda didn't record any album, like Radja Kula. Because they had both alot of succes in Kinshasa with their animations and live-concerts.

Eh bango pe. Damn its like all young bands of the 90s were cursed. Didier Lacoste said the same thing about SVP La Gamme, that they had recorded an album but that it never got released (that album had the original versions of Obiang, 13 Ans, Robert Basende and Cresois). The same with Mboshi Lipassa'sb band of Matonge. Royaume Lifaki had a generic on his name with Bill who was sometimes broadcasted on tv along with one song.

I liked the Choc Stars part, but the presence of Debaba created some emptiness also. This was before Lengi Lenga got ill and after this, he formed Boom des as with Djo Poster, Ben Nyamabo and Likinga and released Etat D'Urgence.

So weird to see Papy Kakol drumming for Doudou Kibinda and Chai Ngenge singing for Jolino with Jimmy Mbonda on the conga's.
When I saw comedian Mangwau singing, I though immediatly about the interview he made 5 years ago. Saying that before becoming comedian, he wanted to become a musician and did a test to join Viva La Musica. But was everytime sended by Wemba's staff to buy cigarettes for them.
