Both are absolute classics especially to us music lovers. But unfortunately or fortunately for both they had to join bands because the solo career wasn't working out for them, which sucks for an artist. My question is if they were released during the time loads of guys went solo would it get the recognition it deserves?

I don’t think so. Because there isn’t a rumba or song that felt as a potential hit song like Liputa, Omba, Vita Imana, Biberon, despite being excellent albums. Because albums like Figure de Style (Mon Bébé), Droit Chemin, Malgré Moi (Voiture Sans Moteur) and Sens Interdit had it all, which made it more easier to succeed.
Aimelia Lias released in 2007 an album called Race de Vainqueur which is also an excellent album, but it went nowhere.

I love both of these albums I remember when Decompte Finale came out and then one day my dad gave the cd to my uncle and then we never got it back loool

He signed a slave contract with Aimé Buanga, but he didn’t knew it. So when those zoulou-gangsters woke him up about that, he refused to go further with the recordings of his album Veni, Vidi, Vici which he worked with Olivier Tshimanga and was blocked for 5 years. When he had fame with his album Figue de Style, he couldn’t promote it in Kinshasa, because he hadn’t French papers yet.

The song Rève & Bakake were my favorite songs of Constat. Guy Wa Nzambi & Corean Polystar did a good job on Pathétique.
Décompte Finale was an excellent album. If I was Koffi I would have poached his solist Mi Cowboys Kombani.

These two generics face us a chance to compare two of the most successful atalakus of the Ndombolo Era, I really liked Caludgi but after Pentagone he changed his voice a bit, that I didn't like. Theo Mbala although not as creative as Caludgi as he copied most of his cries was very energetic in Salanoki and Copinage. Your views on the two?

The Animateur in "Decompte Final" definitely has to be Tutu Callugi....... that's his voice. Listen from somewhere around 3:00 minute.
But that song is AWESOME!

@CM Prince - I love both of the albums dearly and listen to both in full every 3-4 weeks, but I have to agree with @ Mfumu, that both albums lack standout rhumbas, which was absolutely necessary in 05-09

I was waiting for your input grande maitre ;D yeah I guess you and mfumu are right, but still both of these are still classics to me.
