Despite how crazy it might sound after Mayi Ya Sika Diego was regarded as a guy who could replace Celeo since their voice was really similar, but I think that since Techno Malewa Diego kinda stop fighting he was really high in regarding by Werra (in fact Werra let him open the generique here in Satellite) but it seems like the explosion of Brigade and later on the explosion of Lobeso once Brigade was gone made him loose the pursue on any type.of number one position despite the talent. What do you think Diego would have been if he had the nerve and courage to battle Brigade and Lobeso?

I don't remember if he was a copycat (because he was already an established Atalaku in Tonya Tonya if I am not wrong) but as soon as Celeo left he got taken by the usual test system. I remember his test was really viewed on YouTube not because of him but for a guy who came in with a crie called "Niko" that later Lacoste used in one of his first generique

I can't find the video of Diego test but the Niko crie had even Kakol singing (who was a supervisor while his little brother was playing).
I think that Diego just came with his own style (Eloko Ya Matelu and Craka were sooo big at the time with people at parties going crazy on Diego's cries more than Brigade ones who at the time had success with Sous-Sol but kinda flopped with Mayi Ya Sika) and people started to think he could pair or even surpass Celeo but after Techno Malewa Diego just I don't knoe just cessed motivation
