I'm told Bouro created the dance and it was introduced in 1997 Loi. But JB also had the ndombolo cri and dance in his debut album.
Is that because of the mpela brothers creating the dance together or bouro took hIs to QL and alain mpela took the dance to JB and BCBG since they're brothers and those times it's not a problem to dance to other orchestras dance moves.

Correct me if my wrong, the ndombolo crie was done in Wake Up by Koffi in 1996 and again in LOI.Koffi should be credited for ndombolo in my opinion, he made it a worldwide success. Wenge ndombolo was only big to Wenge fans but Koffi world ;D.

In his interview this year, Caludji said that when the return to Kinshasa after a long Pentagon Europe tour , they found that Kibinda Nkoy was very popular dance and Wenge had to find a style to counter it. Werrason summoned Caludji and direct him to find a cry and a style that will minimise the influence of Kibinda Nkoy. That is when Caludji brought. Werason has also been claiming to be the creator of Ndombolo, but that May be is a result of him asking Caludji to create a dance and possibly Caludji could have take it to Werra before presented to the band. In that interview Caludji also said that Werra was the band chief strategists and even Pentagon was his idea.
