He did mention Kamerhe on the other clip lol and yes it’s unnecessary because his way of impersonating someone is usually in a mocking way lol

I don't understand how people can like this guy. I understand the love for his (old) music, which I like, but the guy himself.

The average Congolese and/or African is not very deep into musician's personal history and persona like we are in this forum, usually the only people that know the artists that well are family members and super fan for the average person from Africa or Europe who listen to a Koffi song Koffi's behavuour really doesn't add nor subtract anything because they don't care about the musician life.
For example not a lot of people know that Papa Wemba used to sleep with every woman he could incliding the ones of his musicians (is actually believed that AlPatshino's wife was behind his death due to Wemba being her lover) and the ones of his own sons, he left behind a kid named Antoine like Koffi who doesn't even want to hear the name of Papa Wemba, but when he died Papa Wemba passed like he was this angel like figures who managed to cross bridge continents with his music and an hero because he was letting people in from Congo in the Ngulu affaire, if people knew this about Wemba it would be different, but the majority don't dig enough to find the dirt. Koffi the same.

I see your point and from that perspective I agree.
But for Koffi it's different. Papa Wemba at least globally gave a positive image of himself in interview, especially during his last years.
But Koffi's interview on congolese media is always him attacking people, mocking them, insulting, being vulgar, etc.

Wemba didn’t become a hero National because of the ngulu-affaire (it made btw the press of Congo and bandleaders ridiculize him and kill his image for politicians). They made Wemba a Hero National for the way brought Congolese music on another dimension and make it known in countries like Japan and for the new he influenced a whole generatiosn with La Sape.
