I'd also like to discuss on which decade would you consider to be the best in terms of the quality of the music that came out.

(Please don't think that the quality of music only means the instrumental and how clear it is.

It also means to include the level of productivity and it's impact, consistency to produce great music. The themes, lyrcis, the whole package.

So Which decade was the most enjoyable in terms of music quality etc)

The 70s
The 80s
The 90s
The 2000s
The 2010s

Which decade produced the best music, a good solid 10 years quality music?

What are your thoughts?

Definitely not 2010s for sure lol
i d say 80's and 90's in a close gap early 2000's were good too then it started dropping

I am too young to answer I might remember some songs from early lile Jackie, Roger Milla, Franco etc. But I don't know at all the songs of that period

For me it's late 90s to late 2000s. I'm scared for what's in store for the 2020s. I would rather have a repeat of the 2010s if things get worse.

I agree with you, I don't know what happened, other countries music is going forward, Congo is going backward. I was listening to Pepe Kale Moyibi yesterday, the quality of that music that was produced in late 80s is miles ahead of the crap we are being served currently, I am listening to V12 and papa plus albums of Kofi, damn. The quality of was top notch.

Hard to choose?. The genre is so rich.

It will be the 70's or the 80's or the 90's.

The 70's are slept on.
