If no why. who would you cast to play him ? his life is definetly movie worthy his career is so long so if i was the director/writer i would've chopped it up to a five part series Episode 1, His life as a kid/young adult Episode 2, the early start of his career late 70s with viva la musica Episode 3 starts wit him creating Quartier Latin to Episode 4 how he created the masterpice known as V12 moving forward on to the late 90s and his beef with papa wemba and bercy peformance the impact it had on african music, i dont really know where it should end cause he's still making music and knowing koffi he would probably cast himself lol

That is a tough question. I will need to look at Congolese Theaters to know which actor to play this legend.

His beef with Papa Wemba? Koffi have beef with every single Congolese musicians even some foreign(Alpha Blondy) you can make movie Koffi vs Nyoka Longo(Zaiko) that was huge back then.
Koffi had problem with everyone including Grand Maître Franco, next stop Innos, Bebe Tshor and Tshotsha.

his career is pretty much a movie already,if you look at it closely from his debut in 70's until today
i think we might never ever have another guy like him going from a good writer poor singer to a very strong artist

i heard about the beef wit Nyoka Longo (i would love to hear more about it) and his beefs with different congolese artist like JB Mpiana, Felix Wazekwa, Werrason etc but Papa wemba is the stand out one cuz papa wemba was his mentor at one point in time, movie/series cant cover everything so you gotta take the most IMPORTANT and interesting parts in his life u get me ?
