Yaya was a tribute-song for Franco Luambo Makiadi. Bonheur Plus was just a song to say that he was doing well, after many rumors that he would die, because he seriously sick before the recordings of Bonheur.

No, back in the days Wemba was stil close to Modogo Gianfranco Ferre. Modogo made a song called Ba venants, which an attack towards migrants who came after 1988 and used to call for every detail to their parents or relatives about their brother or sister (like “he isn’t rich, he asked me if he could get some money, he was in prison, etc.”. Demukuse liked the song and wanted a second part, to give “The venant’s” part of the story, that’s why it’s called “Reponse ya Venant”. The song was a huge succes in concerts. Demukuse wanted to record an album, but Papa Wemba refused.

I don’t think that you understand Lingala, because in Malanda Ngombe he dissed Wemba harder than on Andrada. In Malanda Ngombe he insulted him physically, mocking his big nose by calling him Shamazulu. In Andrada & Malanda Ngombe he dissed Papa Wemba through the whole song. In Andrada he sung that he isn’t his enemy, that he had to look to all the people he hurt, that he he’s ungrateful for the things he did, that can’t attack him spiritually in the day and night, etc. In Malanda Ngombe he referred to the time when he used to write songs for him (19977/1978/1979) and that he got a lot of profit from it (na wenze ozalaki na mesa, kasi souviens toi Zulu, marchandise ezalaki ya nga kasi ozuaka interet ebele). Giving Lola Muana, Fally Ipupa, Depitcho diss-verses,.. “you always thinks that it’s you, you.”, “why always praying to god about my death, but you forgot that God is giving me protection”, “Le Grand Mopao is me, open your history-book and you will see that the person who made you is me”...

I think you're right about Bonheur Plus. However, Yaya is more of a diss than a tribute song. By talking to Franco, he's attacking Simaro/Bana OK.

I don't know what she really did but in that song Koffi was attacking her saying she's an easy woman.
As Mfumu said her and Koffi did not talk to each other for a long time. I don't know if they patch things up, but it will be surprising if they did.
I know that back then, in the early 90's, she was accusing Koffi of using witchcraft to kill her unborn children.
Beside the drama, it's very beautiful song with good moral teaching. Ironic coming from Koffi.
Also ironic it's that in the same album you have a very beautiful song (Evangile) dedicated to Koffi's late brother (Didi) after he passed.

The difference with other artists is that Koffi always add his part in those songs and mix them. He did the same things with the few songs Wazekwa gave to him in Koweit Rive Gauche. In Desespoir, the first part is of Wazekwa, but the second part a remix of an old song from 1982 called Mille Soucis, in the same album he gave songs like Porte Monnaie, Koweit Rive Gauche and Papa Bonheur. But he didn't receive a shout-out, Koffi just wrote his name in the booklet along side Manu Lima, Rigo Star, Do Akongo and Clovis K. to thank them. Wazekwa wanted to brag about giving songs to Koffi to his friends and relatives, but most Congolese people don't buy cd's. That's why in Noblesse Oblige he went to insist to Koffi to give him a shout-out and Koffi mentioning his name twice in the seben-part of Papa Plus.

koffi and wazekwa worked directly and undirectly on three different albums and like mfumu says koffi being a writer himself likes to have his own touch and sometimes can take away a part of your text and put it in a song years after ,onlyusing a part of your song or he can take your songs like it is and re phrase words

Prosper Mandrandele was a minister in Mobutu's time. He got sick in 1974, during a trip in Lubumbashi. Shortly his death and burial, his widow forgot everything and started drinking and dancing in night clubs everyday.
Bomba-Bomba Mabe is also a diss for the widow.

Who used to sponsor Zaiko from 1984 to 1988 and who renovated Zaiko's headquarter of then called Mayi Elika, after the renovation it became Ngoss Club. Nyoka Longo accused him in the press for being behind Zaiko's split, after choising Zaiko Familia Dei's side. Tabu Ley used to support Nyoka Longo, because in that era, Ngossana stole Mbilia Bel who was Tabu Ley's second wife, Mbilia then becoming Ngossana's third wife (I though that Ado Yuhe would ask about that, but it didn't happen). That's why they sung "boye kopanza mabala ya bato".
