why not? You're only judging the quality of the music so whether its a "rumba" or "generique" shouldn't really matter right?

It does matter because Rumba is more about lyrics whilst with Generique and Sebene it doesn’t matter as much it’s just wordplay. You can’t compare a Rumba to a Generique, Rumba’s are slow whilst Generiques are fast and more danceable.
