Post by: Congomusiclover001 on July 31, 2021, 16:00: I was thinking of most of the popular singers/atalakus with memorable cries that have been through WMMM. I think I got this order right. It covers their post-WMMM popularity and commercial success

1. Ferre Gola
2. Bill Clinton
3. Heritier Wannabe
4. Robhino
5.Brigade
6.Celeo
7.Deplik Pomba
8. Ambulance
9. Lacoste
10. LBG Cappuccino
11. Lobeso (because he hasn't released any memorable work)
11. JDT Molopwe
13. Miel de son
14. Eboa Lotin
15. Tade

My assessment is based on what they've done over the years since leaving WMMM

We make lot of jokes about Lacoste here, but that guy was very popular in Kinshasa when he released Kingogolo “Tir au But” until 2014. He had huge crowd concerts in Matadi, Kikwit, Idiofa, Lubumbashi & Mbuji Mayi and areas of Kinshasa. Had succesful concerts in Angola, Brazzaville & Pointe Noire. Also won with his band several trophies at the Ndule Awards 2010/11. Blaise Createur being best solist, Blaise Createur being best atalaku, Kingogolo being best generique, Lacoste song Piloli being best song behind Maboko Pamba.

Deplick has done nothing compared Lacoste. The thing that saves Deplick is just the multiple YouTube-video’s he makes. Which makes people think that he already achieved alot, while he had done nothing

He had successful concerts in Paris, Brussels, Kinshasa, Brazzaville & Luanda. Why ignoring his past just because isn’t on top anymore? and putting comedians like Robinho, Cappucino, Ambulance above him. That’s not right.
