Title: KOFFI OR ZAIKO?

Now this is not a Vs or who is better, but just a simple question who wants to inspire a reflection. Given how saturated with Rumba Congolese music is right now with almost no Sebenes very very few memorable (if not any) générique, do you think that the approach that the Zaiko Langa Langa had on music (always stay consistent with a fast tempo Congolese style) it is better? Or do you prefer Koffi's style of forsaken a strictly traditional Congolese style of Album and try to always be at the forefront of the latest trend? I say this because Jossart and Koffi are not very far in age and even though Zaiko started earlier I think that Koffi and Zaiko in terms of comparison can be the closest artists. Tell me what do you think.

Overall I will take Koffi because his range of music is nice I even like some of his newer features , however I prefer Zaikos approach to music and identity that they keep. If you hear a song immediately you know it’s Zaiko. Also I believe that their most recent album Seve is one of the top3 albums we have had in the last 6 years.

It is Zaiko without doubt. They have kept their roots and I know people hate it but it works for them and that is why they remain a great band after 52 years. It is important that is has been 52 years. So for me, it is Zaiko Langa Langa.

If I were Koffi's adviser, I would tell him to expand the Papa Mobimba and make new cries with Papa Mobimba around it. It is a great dance and it got Koffi back on top.

Zaïko Langa Langa. They don't care about following trends, stop playing their original music style to please others.

But this does not mean I think Koffi Olomide is not a great musician, he has done a lot for our music.

Koffi all day adaptability is better but that doesn't mean that zaiko arent legends and great musicians in their own right

Some of you are picking zaiko? Really? I don't like how they didn't keep up with the trends especially in the 2000s.
