Nah. I have other things and most of the Kibuisa Mpipa fans who were little have already moved on, I don't understand this whole chasing the Zenith thing, I mean that was 10 years ago 20 years ago, Werra like JB, Koffi etc. Should move on and find some other concert hall to promote.

sadly predictable,ever since wazekwa's failed zenith,or even before with ferre's zenith its been a hell of a fight to get visas,between embassies becoming extremely strict with musicians,and people snitching to them using the pretext of ngulus and so on,i have been hearing from kin that some people might have snitched that not even half of the list of visas applied by werra were musicians because no group has 40 50 members(when even groups like but na filet's are already around 50) and that combattants took some of the former ngulus to be presented to police and so on
and in kin its not even the super main guy of embassy who is blocking things,God forbid,if ever that guy is close to a musician i can already foresee a strong war,given how us congolese people never lack ideas in terms of imaginating conspiracy plans
fally got more lucky than all the other artists in bringing 30+ guys at bercy,even 20 easy visas nowadays is a miracle almost

No wonder why Koffi called back a lot of the Europe based QL to participate in U Arena, I only see him bringing one Atalaku, Omba, maybe Eric and Asso (since Asso performed at the last 2 Zeniths, unfortunately also BB Jitrois and Cindy. I see him bringing a max 10 people

This would be good but even though they may act like it I can’t imagine Fabro, Wata and Cappuccino accepting to perform as normal musicians no way would they do it, they’d only accept as guests. I think he should use Musikasika, Mabiala, Aimelia, Teka, Jitrois, Roi David, Celeo, Kusangila, because come to think of it there isn’t thaaaaat much Europe based Maison Mere musicians especially compared to Latino.

my fear now is that other big halls decide to boycott congolese music too,because they have that power to refuse in parternship with police,the sad thing is that some artists will not mind that much or at least pretend to as they performed several times already,and some will rub it on the face of rivals that they managed to play already in those 11 12 years of trouble
if they put together what happened at elysee montmartre,plus what cancelled heritier's olympia when musicians were already wearing uniforms,plus fally's very troublesome bercy this could well create something very ugly for the future of our music
apart from slightly the employment thing,and sometimes retirment related protests,the biggest thing politicians of various parties of france argue about is the more and more thing line between immigration,terrorism-security issues and the brainwashing to give mad spotlight to those crimes when committed by a person of african origin gets bigger and bigger,so parties of extreme radical will have a field day putting pressure on the authorities for continue to allow congolese concerts which always end in trouble
i remember some politicians went hard on macron for allowing to perform even just with the preliminary trouble let alone the big mess created in the process
i am very worried,koffi will have to pull one hell of a masterstroke to perform at u arena well

What is the issue between the combatants and Congolese musicians? Do they want to be bribed into allowing the concerts? Is it for political reasons? Can someone explain the origins of the this phenomenon. I used to think it was related to polemic btw fans of different artist, but it seems like they're against ALL major Congolese singers performing in Europe.
If anything, the European government should imprison the combatants for rioting. Why punish the musicians for performing a service for paying customers? The performance generate revenue for the venue, people spend money on public transportation to arrive, and local resturants benefit from the increased traffic of people...

Man this is sad for Congolese music, so basically France is giving in to state violence and even terrorism to an extent when just last year i believe they passed a law giving the police broader jurisdiction to monitor and arrest people they deem a threat.
my question for the combatant and everyone on this forum.....what is the plight of these combatants again? Kabila is gone long ago. their own guy Felix is president so what is the problem again?

or the combatant saw the fact that Innos'B build some houses in Goma and they said to themselves every Congolese musician has to do what Innos did or no concert

blocking concerts is so far their biggest asset to maintain some pressure,as given the fact that music is the thing most congolese people have eyes on,its always their operations against musicians which catch bigger attention,which leads to some people believing that they only exist when its time to boycott music which is not really true
the thing is that,for those who remained on the radical position(a decent number of them are satisfied as long as kabila is gone and some are even gone back to kin having past friendship with president or with the tribal thing) felix tshisekedi is still like kabila a muppet of rwanda uganda and western forces and who is improving nothing in the country while him and all the government and deputies associated to him are having mad lifestyle upgrade
on the side of musicians the biggest mistake they always find themselves in for me is that they always allow people to know that they are gone to see in the past big guys of kabila or now felix before coming to europe,so it always fuels the theory of combattants that musicians are used to come and break the biggest instrument of pressure they have,as their protests can even be overshadowed that day by two female youtubers attacking each other, or their actions when president comes limited by ever increased security
so as it stands music is still where their actions catch bigger attention,which is why it always reaches a newer level of heat as soon as they see jb werra heritier with the ministers and president of parliament prior to coming to their concert or fally with the rwandan authorities who came to his bercy
and the problem also is that musicians do not like to arrive quietly there has to be fans welcoming press queueing up to interview,all this is always incentive for the guys to react

Even if Ferre and Koffi did succeed in diplomacy and heavy security measures were applied around the venues, what's to stop the combatants from throwing their toys out of the pram and wrecking shit all over Paris on the day of both men's respective shows?

yeah indeed,they seem very determined to create trouble,and the hardest thing is that the musicians tend to fail in terms of mind games on the way to the concerts,koffi is automatically suspected of suddenly making political statements just to try to win over combattants for concerts,jb werra and co give shoutouts to the guys all year long then are filmed and posted on tv in the offices of the guys before going to europe,so far no one has managed to fully do things underground and take them by surprise

Bro nothing in what you just mentioned has anything to do with the musicians, Artist taking pics with politicians is normal and not a crime...that shouldn't bother people.

i am not defending them bro,but what i amsaying is that when those situations of concert approach they always go and visit them guys and insist many times in their interviews when it gets a little complicated that they went to get support from the authorities,so it gives an opportunity to combattants to use it,and it influences french authorities,in all their letters combattants present the musicians as active members of the regime,so equally responsible to him of allthe bad things happening inthe country
and france to cover up to how they exploit africa will "be on their side" to pretend they understand their fight while they could not care less
if france really wanted musicians to have their freedom to perform nothing can stop them,inthe worst case it will be like fally's bercy a madness around concert,but concert still happening with thousands of people inside

SMH I despise combattants with a passion!! They don't do anything for Congo at all. Hope Ferre,Fabregas and Koffi can be able to play their concerts. Plus Heritier wants to play at Zenith and Olympia next year.
