So French people really don't want African artists to perform again there. I see. Is it because of French growing racism or because of the upteenth Congolese snitching to the Authorities?

According to Ndombolhino it's due the Minister of Interior who decided to cancel it. Because he doesn't want any trouble until that presidential elections next year. The trouble during Fally's Bercy have cost them already millions (I don't know if you remember that they burned a whole trainstation) and U-Arena (aka Paris La Defense Arena) is situated at La Defense which is France and Europe's largest business district.

Well that’s a damn shame I would’ve even liked to go, but it was always looking to go this way, on that same date Fiston Mbuyi is performing in London and I think Mirage Supersonic is doing a small show somewhere in Paris

like i feared for koffi,elections is near and if macron allowed a concert of black people leading in yet another chaos,his hopes to be reelected are done and dusted and he is clearly a guy who loves power and wants to make history for himself

Let’s be honest, this isn’t surprising. I don’t see concerts coming back after this, them terrorise combattants need to get deported. Such a shame cause we were gonna get a QL reunion concert smh

i think the guys must have some secrete backing from some of the french authorities,nowhere else in the world as far as i know something similar has happened for 10 years straight regardless of the changes of governments
must be something in there also less concerts from musicians of some african countries " seem safer" to them since back in the days our people were doing some madness before concert,to be at concerts,and after concerts

Wonder how Koffi feels right now. Koffi and co would have a much easier time setting up a big concert in UK at O2 arena or even the US at Madison Square Garden. They should try to consider those now, but I'm sure the "Plein Na Plein only" fears will get in the way. I know no venue in Africa is prestigious for them no matter the VIP price.

That’s what I’ve been saying, I live in London and the police and that here aren’t as soft as the french officials, if the combattants try stuff here they will get arrested for sure. Koffi should play at 02 or even go back to Brixton Academy, there’s a lot of Koffi, Fally, and Werra fans here. If Covid wasn’t a thing I think Fally would’ve performed successfully in Brixton academy, the tickets were sold out and people from Paris and Brussels were going to come since some missed the Bercy show.

Don't you remember how Fally saw his shows at Troxy in 2010 and Indigo O2 in 2011 being cancelled. JB Mpiana in 2006 who had to hide with his dancers in his hotel being protected by Jamaican bodyguards, when Combattans were about to beat him and the same Combattans trying to kill Pathy Moleso, Kibens and co with knifes them running away. Koffi tried twice to perform in London (2007 & 2008) but both shows being canceled and him quickly taking the metro get away when combattans were following to give him a mutakalisation like they did to She Okitundu and Yves Kisombe the same year. Manda Chante who was seriously beaten and being spit on his face.

koffi must be devastated,i saw ndombolhino post on snap that even guys like adolphe(who has reconciled with koffi recently) are very down,so if even tata who does not really stand off late a chance of playing in big halls of paris is affected imagine quadra with all the preparation and the guests announced and doing videos

Yeah but bro I live here and times have changed, they’re still crazy here but the police and security are quick here, say if an artist showed the police of threats they would take it more seriously then the french.

But seriously this is a huge blow to the genre and now we have them dumb warriors mocking Koffi and saying this is what happens when you don't ask Fally for advice. Koffi himself had a strong line up of guests and promoted the concert heavily it would've been a good event i'm sure, he should try again next year.

It is growing. France used to be the state where black people would go and got massive standing ovation by people. I remember this Italian Angolan guy named Leone Jacovacci escaped Italian Fascism and just went to France where he was massively accepted the same for Josephine Baker

Cause if so then that's not a good look for the French Government that they can't control people making noises just for a concert. Something needs to be done cause enough is enough. Also for the time being Congolese artists should try Belgium, UK, Greece, Turkey, Scandanavia.

This doesn't surprise me. Seeing what was happening the past month, it was only a matter of time until authorities pulled the plug. Didn't think it'd happen this soon. Shame, because this was the best chance his young fans had of seeing him.

The problem is not controlling people is that if they let Koffi do his concerts and combattants will burn things and so on,if they leave them they will be seen as weak by whites but if they kill them or best them or seriously injure them a lot of blacks especially outside of the Congolese community will see them as racists. So to avoid any problem they annulated it. From a government and election standpoint it makes sense. Plus, I guess the negative Kharma of all the bad things that all the artists who want to perform in France (Congolese artists) came back right when they needed Europe the most.

Try that in UK you will be deported straight away. Threaten someone like the combattants do they will come hard on you under terrorism laws. The French are a bit soft. UK combattants even with citizenship they are stripping it and kicking offenders out.
