I'm not a big fan of watching funerals. But I looked like most bandleaders just came there, to let the people see that they were there and not for the person Francois Matumona. Also there was a big mess towards the end when Ferre Gola, JB Mpiana, Nyoka Longo and Werrason came to give flowers.

ndeko if you look at the titles of most big channels(stemay,cleboa and co) they all are like "eyindi,affrontement,guerre d'esprit"
i think both the media the musicians and many fans have lost the emotional side of funerals,its all about who will be there,and which reception will he get
