Why did Avis de Recherche of Zaiko came in 1995 instead of 1992 ? Zaiko Nkolo Mboka had after the split with Zaiko Familia Dei in 1988, had from 1989 the habit to come every summmer on tour in Europe and to release their album in december. Jetez l'Eponge being released in dec 1989, Ici Ca Va in dec 1990 and Jamais sans Nous in dec 1991. In 1992 they came once again in Europe, but they didn't release an album for december 1992. Was it because of their musicial director Mbuta Matima being seriously sick, that made them not record to wait him recover (which sadly didn't happen, he died in 1996 of cancer), since that he was ? About the 1991-93 period, I only remember that Madilu was a victim of a burglary and only coming on tv to ask his chain back, which created alot of polemic at that time. Btw from Zaiko's return they performed once at Salon Congo of Intercontinental in 1992 and the opposition (UDPS) claiming that Kongolo Mobutu paid them to distract the population.
The affair of admins firing was in 1993 when Baroza, Adamo and Malage secretly recorded an album. Being fed up of waiting for years to record a new song while they had plenty songs at home.
