So crazy to hear that Grand Pretre Mere and Matanga were written by Guy Matondo. I always thought that it was Koffi himself since that it was dedicated to Aliya. Is Guy Matondo than the same guy who wrote Aliya ? Somebody needs to interview him about the songs he gave to Koffi Olomidé, Papa Wemba and co.
Lol, Didier Lacoste used alot of nkisi but he wasn't able to reach the level of Ferre Gola and Fally Ipupa. How someone could eat 1 kilo of salt and makasu the whole time that's impossible.

Aliya is written by Koffi. You can tell when a song is written by Koffi. Aliya is similar to Koffi's older songs like Longomo.

Tbh it was on Lacoste himself, I remember he had a crazy initial run after leaving Wenge after Sous Sol, his songs were starting to get wide recognition even in Europe, and as I have always said he was one of the first people in modern era who brought that Boniomai, Mabele Elisi, Mongo type of style into Ndombolo music, and if he just kept being focused on music, he would be on that level also cause he is an amazing singer and tbh you wouldn't even know that it is the same person if you compare his singing and his talking voice, but I think he either exaggerated with Kindoki, or he started to become too much sure in himself, because that's where he got the delusion, the crazy claims, the "Usher wanted to work with me but I refuse cause he wanted Sima c'est bon" etc.
What happened that made his career derail, when he had a head start to success? I never understood Circulation Matambu or whatever that album is called is really good, and even his first generique c'est par la la solution, despite the video being literally a bunch of dance guys and dance girls dancing in a rehearsal dance room was really good

And another question, despite a lot of artists being successful with Kindoki, there are also a lot of artists like Deplick, Wazekwa, But Na Fillet, Innoss'B who are successful without it, why do many leaders believe that is that end all ne all to become successful?
