Which album is better ?
Honestly I don't know. But I think that I will this time go for TH, I may change from opinion after a few months.

TH better than Effrakata?? Ehh each to their own. Effrakata is better by miles.

both albums are quite similar in structure,except that th does not have a second generique
but if you take a deep look at it,you'll that there is rumba classics,sebene songs(where th can win in terms of topic),rnb(robot,bye bye julie),rumba with foreign influence(aminata sylla even if its technically salsa,the first part of babou)
legendary generiques...
the other difference is maybe clips of effrakata which were start of a revolution while th clips were good but not extraordinary
this debate is a bit like loi vs feux de l'amour,both having big quality but one appearing to be closer to memory due to better "package"

You surely went for Effrakata because of the sebenes and animations.
Effrakata is an excellent album, maybe I will choose over 6 months for it. But looking back on it, apart Bilan du Travail and Rien a Signaler who are songs about the society, Suivez le Guide a praise song for Koffi and the love song Logique, most love-songs are the same topic, but just different because of the arrangements done by Philipe Guez, contributions of QL-singers, Koffi's proverbs and few being done as sebene-song other as rumba-song
I choose TH because JB Mpiana really proved himself as singer and reached some maturity as singer in the album. It was a pure solo-album. For the love songs, he came in every song with a different theme about love. In Grace a Toi Germain about everybody having the right to love (poor or rich), 48 Heures Gecoco about a deseparate woman who had only 48 hours left, Aminatta Sylla, Dis-Moi Amour singing in French, Bye Bye Julie,.. He sung also about other topics and some still touches people to this dayJB Mpiana sung about Education, Laureat's 2000 being dedicated to "les mikiliste", Pipina Jeannpy for Bana Lunda, Kinshasa about the "exode rural" we had to wait for 20 years to a rumba-artist to come with a kind like song and that was Karmapa with Maman Yemo, but the arrangement wasn't on the same level.

They have to thank Papa Wemba "Vieux M'zee" for that. It's due to the Fula Ngenge album where Vieux Bokoul used various styles "folklore", "classic music", "hip-hop", "ndombolo", "rumba", "world-music" wanting Fula Ngenge to be "l'album de nouveau millenaire/l'album de l'an 2000". They all used that album as inspiration. It's crazy that nobody noticed that and only credit it to Kibuisa Mpimpa and/or Effrakata for having various styles and an inspiration for the albums that came after it like they are blind.
If I had to choose about what being a better album between Loi and Feux de l'Amour, I would go for Feux de l'Amour although preferring Loi because of liking Koffi to much and having many memories with it.

Between Kibusia Mpimpa and Feux de l'Amour, which do you think is the better debuting solo album?

That's not a fair comparison. Because Feux de l'Amour just has 10 songs while Kibuisa Mpimpa is double-album with 17 tacks and both albums are from different era's which more difficult to compare. It's like comparing Nouvelle Generation's album Porokondo to Quartier Latin Academia's Sanction. Also Feux de l'Amour was done with Wenge 4x4 and not with Wenge BCBG of Rio, Kibens, Mpela, Chai and co. It's better to compare TH to Kibuisa Mpimpa. Among all bandleaders of 3th and 4th generation, Werrason cheated with his solo albums Kibuisa Mpimpa and Temoignage. Especially Kibuisa Mpimpa, WMM-members had to much vocals, which makes the album sounds like a bandalbum instead of a solo-album. No wonder that people often want to compare Kibuisa Mpimpa to A La Que Leu Leu. But still Kibuisa Mpimpa stays one of my favorite solo-albums along with Foridoles, Ziggy and V12

That's fair, I never thought of it that way. Werra didn't sing as much on his solo album as one should, but his vocals were the best since Wenge Musica's 1994 album (I forgot the title, Hi Ho Ha was the generique).

No one in Wenge 4x4 will beat Werra's vocals in all albums they did. Every vocal was a big succes. I think that if Wenge 4x4 didn't split and he recorded Kibuisa Mpimpa with them, that he would sing most songs on his own. With succes of Force d'Intervention Rapide and Solola Bien he earned the title of "le grand formateur" for having a dream-team and giving them light, it could be that he wanted to reward WMM and give them the chance to express themselves despite Kibuisa being a solo-album. Btw a big part of the songs were of Baby Ndombe, Didier Lacoste and Serge Mabiala.

TH ten times better than Effrakata...I like Koffis albums but I will compare Monde Arabe with TH not Effrakata

WMM wins for me for both albums, but Force de Frappe could have came close if Koffi gave his artist more space on their own songs. Mamale, Jordan (understandably his song done last minute), and Fally's gay friend barely sang on their song.
The albums best cuts are when Koffi falls back, let his artist do their thing like these gems...

Maybe because of age and the part of Africa I come from I will choose Koffi album in every comparison and also in Southern Africa Koffi's albums were all successful by far compared to others , that's why Werrason struggled when he came to Zimbabwe whereas when Koffi or Fally comes the country goes to standstill.

Plus Koffi's work is clean and classy, if you compare the videos of Werrason and WMM then Koffi Olomide and QL it will be really hard to choose Werrason.

I would go both for WMMM. But Solola Bien is different TO Force de Frappe. In Solola Bien it were like Intervention Rapide only the admins/co-founders who had songs while in Force de Frappe new members and veterans had songs. Guys like Serge Mabiala, JDT, Baby Ndombe and co had to wait 3 albums before putting songs in Maison Mere. It's crazy the way how they used to call Koffi egoistic in that era, while guys like Fally and Jipson left QL with 3 songs the time they spended and JDT, Baby Ndombe just having1 song when leaving their band
There was no mi-solo guitar. Ridens Makosso had normally to do that role, but Deba O'Neill run away which made them abandon it and both Felly Tyson and Ridens Makosso swapping roles lead/rhythm in different songs.

You guys really prefer A La Que Leu Leu over Affaire d’etat?? A La Que Leu Leu is good but come on Affaire d’etat was on a different level the sound was just one of the best ever and just the artistic work on that album was incredible, A La Que leu leu the sound just didn’t sound right and Werra destroyed the album with the excessive mabanga and the Generique wasn’t even that good either.
Also I think comparing Jb to Koffi is a bit unfair because when TH came out as you said Jb had a lot to prove especially to show that he could stand on his own two feet without Makaba and Blaise, whilst with Effrakata Koffi didn’t have much to prove on rhumbas because he had already released multiple solo albums to his name.
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you said Anti Terro is a better album than Danger De Mort looool ;D ;D
