Matiti Mabe used to be a huge hit during Christmas time in Brazzaville & Pointe Noire during the early 2000’s.

Was  Bienvenu Roland Faignond a songwriter or did he play for a Brazza band before creating the group Bana Poto Poto.

He was a singer and songwriter. He used to be the mayor of Poto Poto from 1985 to 1987 in 1999 he created the group Bana Poto Poto

I was thinking the same thing, especially the song Kodi Kodi towards the end it reminded me of the song Proverebes 22:1
