Ben Nyamabo had to give this team of Choc Stars a different name. By still calling it Choc Stars, people had still the image of Roxy, Defao, Djanana, Debaba, Carlito, Ditutala and Djo Mali. This all made it harder for them to succeed.
The part of Kinanga Boeing kills me. But he was right. I think that Fondation Empire wasn't formed yet, him and the majority still being with Papy Tex at that time. Both Werrason and Adolphe took musicians like Mimiche, Shora Mbonda, Papillion and Shella Mputu from them.
Looks like Gaspard Love was part of the team that filmed Force d'Intervention Rapide-clips, because he used many unused images of the generique and Chantal Switserland to mix it in the videoclip of JB Mpiana's RDC and TH. Americans would have released a special bonus or a whole VHS for behind the scenes-images and unused parts.
Adolphe's departure created alot of buzz. More than Les Marquis'creation.Blaise Bula departure didn't had all that impact, just people being surprised why he didn't participate to BCBG's Zenith and staying in Kinshasa to record an album. Looking back on it, it was to a little bit early for Blaise to leave Wenge BCBG. He had to wait for the right moment to create buzz.

Blaise left wayyyyyyy too early, I’ve always said this. Because I don’t remember that much buzz, he could’ve left maybe after zenith or after doing a second bcbg album. Because after Adolphe left Maison Mère suffered in concerts with them getting booed or doing mpiaka, whilst bcbg nothing changed after Blaise left.

he was rushed by friends who knew they'd become more influential than in bcbg where jb's guys were first then makaba's then blaise's he got upset quick when he knew that jb was doing th next,he did not realise that its not really wenge bcbg which signed with simon its jb so jb was always going to be the priority

i dont think so blaise was not too keen on that reserve of kibens chai heritier rio lol there was a concert where they did not sing sooo much that it was when hall was getting empty and the technicians wanting to pack the instruments that heritier and kibens sang a song while rio and chai were sulking somewhere in the corner loool and surely there would have been a similar conflict like jb had with makaba who thought that it was too early for them

Out of all the musicians tested for the reserve team, you mean to tell me that Kibens, Rio, and Chai were the best JB Mpiana could find? I feel like he doesn't have the same eye for talent like Adolphe did with Wenge Tonya Tonya and Werra with Masion Mere, where there is no passengers.

the rest were recruited based on talent and/or looks until now but they have then have to face the battle to go above those who built the structure at the start

Why couldn't Pipiyus find success outside of JB Mpiana? They impressed at Bercy, maybe they should have continued on without him and record a proper album. They waited too long

pipiyu in itself was a kibens concept he was talking about from the start of bcbg when he was still in the shadow,they continued to recruit yes so that reserve still exists now that most of the original pipiyu had gone to first team(bar heritier who joined maison mere and zygal who remained reserve for 10 years)
they actually released two albums but they lacked backing to promote themselves well

Possible. Blaise didn't go to concerts and rehearshals for like 4 months since the concert of l'Esplanade de Palais du Peuple where JB officialy presented Rio, Chai, Kibens and Heritier as first teammembers and Kibens doing Blaise's role. But few weeks before Zenith, Mbuta Kisolokele went to Blaise house with his passeport and visa in it asking him to come to the last rehearshals. Blaise refused and he confirmed it years later in Ado's interview. Suzuki said something similar in one of his multiple youtube interviews, I think the one with. Saying that he had to go to Europe on his own with a few musicians to record his album produced by Simon. But later both Simon and Kisolokele asking him to rehearse with Wenge BCBG as a BCBG-singer, informing Suzuki that Blaise Bula won't be there anymore

I once followed Jimmy Mbonda's interview and he said that next Heritier, Rio and Kibens, there were the singers Sterly Mikobi (he would go to Delta Force a few months later) and a guy called Pick Chante. I guess both guys weren't patient enough. The atalaku's being Bidjana and Yondi Okosha. Bidjana quickly getting a place in the first team to animate along Tutu Kaluji

Chikito came as last. He joined somewhere to the end of 2000. After being fired by Koffi Olomidé. He missed the Bercy-trip and his staff was mad, thinking that Mamale gossiped about him to Koffi. Which led to a confrontation between both staffs and Chikito's team cutting Mamale's poster in Bandal. While Mamale didn't had anything to do with it. But Mustapha having done "something" which made Chikito lost his name on the list last minute and Mustapha going in his place. Koffi was really mad against Chikito when coming back from Bercy, fired him (Mamale was like Champion intouchable in Quartier Latin at that time) and said that he didn't see him having a place anymore in the band since that Bouro Mpela rejoined. This made Chikito leave and join PPU, where he quickly managed to get a place there because of his dancing skills.
The idea of PPU came from Kibens. But the idea to recruit more musicians after Zenith came from JB since that he wanted to have a proper second team, the majority already having joined the 1st team. Djolina then forming a whole team (10 singers, guitarists, drummers and bass-players). They did the first-part of JB Mpiana's concert at Stade des Martyrs. Djo Lockis and Dolin Masengi joined PPU a few weeks before Zenith. Djo Lockis being introduced through Tutu Kaludji. Both doing their tests individually at Base Kamina.

In your opinion, which group was the most difficult to be recruited by Masion Mere, QL, BCBG, or Nouvelle Ecriture? I would say Wenge Masion Mere, because I heard the crowd at La Zamba are tough to please. It seems as it's relatively easy to join QL, but making an impression to stay in the group is challenging without strategic friendships (Fally, Champion, or Soleil).

Wenge BCBG, because you will never get a chance in the first team hahaha. You can risk to join the 3th team.
About the crowd of Zamba Playa decided started from 2004 after Les Marquis. Before that they didn't had that much influence. If they were looking for a musician, it was mostly Werrason who was picking them. Then letting them rehearshing with Flamme or Ferre and later presenting them at La Zamba, acting like they didn't see them somewhere before. Examples are Teka Diobanza, who Werrason spoted at tv when performing with Delta Force. Mimiche Bass and Shora Mbonda who were with Papy Tex in Empire Bakuba de l'An 2000. Guys like Heritier and the guy from Cele Mfumu who used to replace Serge Mabiala and Baby Ndombe sometimes (before making the stupid mistake to leave) never did tests and joined Maison Mere just like that.
If the public would be against after the test, Werrason would use good words to convice the accept the new member. Musicians who were rejected in the 2000-2003 were mostly those Werrason didn't need them or him prefering to work with them at home to prepare his future-songs and collaborating with first-team members to give vocals, cri's or guitar partitions.
