I am noticing there is a lot of sebene tracks on there. I am wandering why Congolese don’t promote on there or create more sebenes on albums? This is quite an opportunity for growth especially since African music is on the rise in the US.

Because they are stubborn,  and believe that they are the thing. The only Congolese artist who promote things on Tik Tok are Fally and to some extent Deplick, the rest are meh

It’s sad this genre is slowly fading cause of lack of promotion. Yet there are plenty of resources.

there is gaz mawete and innoss and i believe koffi also recently
