dynastie 2 has evolved from a maison mere+ jetset concept to a more open project which has already seen the involvement of malage and soleil,and i got told by a friend who's heard it from the studio discussions that ferre is waiting for koffi to come to france to participate in dynastie

In my view the more features it will have the more complex it will become and it might lose identity...more like he is badly trying to redeem it. He should have kept it simple so that it has identity as an album for his former colleagues in WMM. Ferre does good music he just needs to promote it better and be aggressive.

i agree with you,he is having a nice idea of "bringing back music at the center of discussions" instead of commercial and promotional feats but all in the same project it could be hard to promote

If you can, advise him against it lol. That Dynastie 2 album has already partially lost identity due to the involvement of Soleil. Not that Soleil isn't worth featuring but the buzz for the album was the coming together of the 1st generation of Maison Mere. At this point Ferre should be convincing Werra to participate in the album of all the leaders he may want to involve. But am sure either ye moko is stubborn or he has been told by his handlers to involve leader A instead of leader B or C.

if i was him i would make the feat with koffi be a single after or before release and say "its still part of the album" but we did not want to have too much songs on the album itself,the perception will change a bit compared to if everything is together

somehow i feel for ferre,because the idea is him but since that idea represented what fans,donors producers and the leader himself failed to do for years,us the fans and the press take control of the project while in reality ferre has the full right to wake up and drop some of them or just do what he is doing now with the new guests

About the Maison Mere QL I think that he should do a part with Wenge with a three generique Two Bill Celeo togheter ono Bill alone and the other one Celeo alone plus making a due with all the guys he was with in Maison Mere same for QL make a Generiuqe with Brigade and Ker9 togheter then Brigiade alone Kero alone and then do a feat with all the QL guys and yes Fally include I think Fally Ferre working togheter would be the treated thing ever but I know it won't happen

He needed to be more open and get out of the comfort zone and try something different other than always doing rumba. From the get go he should of done features with outsiders and have vision of spreading his music beyond congo. The reason why Fally has left him behind is because the man had a vision from the day he left Koffi and you can see that on his first album and we all saw the result. Fally has basically surpassed the whole clan wenge in terms of success and in Congo the only one he hasn’t yet it’s Koffi. Ferre in the other hand can’t seem to stick to anything. He needs to do more features with other artist and stop making that odemba rubbish, it’s boring.

He surpassed Koffi big time, it is just that he had never had songs like Futa Djallon and other classics loke Koffi have done that's why people in Congo still see him below Koffi but tbh despite me being a Maison Mere Fan Fally totally revolutionized Congolese music and until few years ago he was actually trying to expand everywhere while now he us just being lazy cause he feels that he have reached his peek

I get you bro but if you go back to the years he had actually done feats in his early career,i believe deep down having the wenge experience he was thinking they'd replicate some sort of jb werra rivalry with kinshasa having a vital role and being a mirror for contracts abroad and it kinda started like that but then he did not adapt to the switch which started happing at the bounce of the 2010's where other music of africa became very competitive forcing congolese artists to either go for feats with them or making easy dance songs to be put on the map along with the azonto,gweta,sitya loss and co while ferre was still on plan a be strong in kinshasa then perform a bit abroad but sticking to the music he is comfortable with
this issue is a bit tricky because its not only criticism towards ferre but criticism also because of somebody else who is fally,if fally's career was different the criticism would be also different
one has had all his career always surrounded by producers,managers who either followed his vision or gave him new things to learn knowing it would serve giving an edge,the other has had for most of his career self production congolese type of management marked by eternal internal conflict making it toxic for an artist to blossom and for any very professional person to survive around long term
that being said,it undeniable that ferre's career has not been better because he did not want to fully do what the game required because he was never used to be directed too much by anybody other than his previous leaders,he wanted too much to stick to plan a talent and let luck do the rest,while we are in an era where somebody can sing like a strangled squirrel and be super popular because he has x factor and good formula adapted to the game
also for example he was leaving gaps between his albums,which fally was using for those viral easy dance songs,while him at best he would do a generique here and there once in a while,if you look at most of his transition generiques or half it made views but not like a easy viral song because that formula of seben its mainly congolese people who understand it easily
on the other hand my man ipupa would make his dance songs start in french with those moan sounds and gimmicks lol then progressively kick into dancing parts(best example original),the structure makes it easier to swallow for somebody not expert of hard hitting generique like ferre's boss
if anything the whole recent career of fally is all about the structure of songs,while ferre wanted to challenge himself in various type of arrangement
like a friend of mine says "today's music does not need mathematics,just make it catchy"

also one thing which did not go in favour of ferre,the way he was so demanding or so neglecting of trips abroad,for example in 16 years jetset has never gone on the american continent as far as i can remember while there was opportunities even for nothing,in congolese music at some of point of popularity you can even bring your group to europe for nothing serious(its a bit more difficult in recent years but still) and the way he neglected many awards offers and tips how to connect to them how to "buy" some to boost the cv,many calls for feats... technically he went for the oldschool "nga naza grand pretre" mentality so its you who decide to do things when you want
on the other hand,fally accepted to make himself "yuma" to learn every single trick possible to boost career and impress people then once he realised that he had cemented something strong, developped a very strong arrogant "grand pretre" mentality and since it is backed with big legacy a lot of people either dont notice it or play it down whereas ferre with the holes he's had in parts of his career every single bad thing happening is taken to bigger dimension,look for example at the meltdown after haya mvita left because she was not getting full control she wanted because of interference of other people who are fearing to lose some power,it happens everywhere in the world even in sport with agents and families and friends but since ferre's career has been constant up stall down up stall down it almost made some people question seriously whether they should still care about ferre

hundred per cent bro,honestly speaking apart from that if i was him i would settle in another african country for a year,the congolese context is too toxic for him,between the fans who he has disappointed or who have developed some sort of mini hate/reject towards him because they've been hurt too much of "looking like fools" in the banter and comparison with fally,and those who do not like him for x reason or those who never liked him in the first place like the warriors
his prison case speaks a lot,when you attract almost no external sympathy(i mean from those who it would be the most surprising from to sympathize) and when being in prison then under a deadline before leaving the country and the criticism has not slowed one bit before during and after the prison,it shows that the guy has to move mountains to reclaim some proper respect
if i was him i would settle in ivory coast for example,accept a bit of the commercial music make dance feats,along with the odemba thing for the home listeners(those who are not into partying life and need relaxing music) ,tour in africa for a year or something then come back to congo having been a bit forgotten and given a bit of a clean slate

Bro - I used to be one of the guys defending Ferre's cause when all the musical simpletons swore up and down Fally was the best of his generation, but I can no longer do it if the man himself has no backbone to defend himself..... or surround with people that can help him make educated decisions.

werra's case is complex in both parts,they try to be closer but there is always something which comes to mess it,i spoke last year with a deep insider of the clan and he was saying that their thing needs to really unlockfrom a spiritual point,physically they have both tried to make it work but there is always something of their past troublesome relationship blocking the way
and ferre is clearly not the type to accept to go through further humiliation having to suck it up,he wants them to meet and look at each other face to face like men and werra either is not the type to pamper ferre like a little baby following him around to meet

I don't think he can, even when he tried like in this case with the weird Afro Urban sound failed miserably, I think that the train to be international and worldwide like Fally has long gone, even if he wanted to tour Europe, how? Combatants will block him and he really fuck up the chance he ahd to perform multiple times when he could, and as have you said, no America no South America, rarely African tours, the only time I remember him traveling was when he was in Russia and he made a big deal about it, but... I believe a third volume should be an option here . One with his wenge buddies and the other one with QL ( soleil , jipson . Bouro. Modogo , montana and Koffi) . Release both albums the same day and see Which one would work better .

he gave example of congolese promoters who wanted to take him to america back in the years he was adamant that not even 1 per cent of his usual pay should be missing,while the guys were begging him that it would be good for both parts them for the portfolio,having brought a big star him in terms of image,he refused he said his usual pay,they also disagreed on the number of visas him wanting 20+ when they could barely afford slighlty over half
then the guys went to dicap who accepted and in the long run it helped his image as his group has been to america and europe for cut prices at times several times while on ferre's side its over 10 years because he was refusing to come just for "visibilite" with a cutprice having to pay himself some tickets
so charly says its fantastic that he knows and protects his value by sticking to his paycheck he wants but at the same time for the sake of the game knowing that like it or not you are in daily comparison with somebody you gotta be more flexible and play the game

You're right, am sure if there wasn't a pose in recording due to him being arrested the original idea would have been realised. Am also sure that it will still be a good album for us who are not on this world music train that almost everyone wants all rumba artists to get on.

Ferre is an already a star. Maybe we are more ambitious than him. He may not have the same vision like us 'experts'. So maybe we need an ambassador to pass our wisdom to him. Tell him that Congovibes are saying that he can only be a success if he does feats with ex-Wenge for his project. The moment he touches Soleil or Modogo he has gone moronic and is finished like his mentor/turned nemesis Werra. Lets get this message through ASAP because we the 'experts' know what is good for his career than him or his management. That being said a day doesn't pass that I don't see Ferre promoting himself on SM. He is all Facebook and Instagram. I don't do Tiktok so I wouldn't know. He needs to know that we don't consider that as promoting himself and we are preparing a memo on proper promotion that he needs

I don't think he can, even when he tried like in this case with the weird Afro Urban sound failed miserably, I think that the train to be international and worldwide like Fally has long gone, even if he wanted to tour Europe, how? Combatants will block him and he really fuck up the chance he ahd to perform multiple times when he could, and as have you said, no America no South America, rarely African tours, the only time I remember him traveling was when he was in Russia and he made a big deal about it, but... Russia isn't the states isn't France, I mean annoys who was his pire Petit understood business way better then him and now he tours Africa every year, and even went to Legends Urbaine but Ferre no, it is just sad to see

I don't think people want to be a Fally's clone at all, it is that a lot of people in 2005 remember really well how Ferre was way bigger then Fally and everybody expected him to be what Fally is now, mind you Droit Chemin became a success but after months of promotion by journalists who wanted to see Koffi's reign end if it wasn't for that I doubt Fally would have even had a chance of being a solo star, the problem with Ferre as Archos said is that he relaxed he thought he was already arrived because he was the star who left Wenge but QL wanted and after Sens Interdit felt that he was invincible, plus yes Rhumba is his strength but other African countries couldn't care less about rhumbas, Heritier, But Na Fillet, Deplick, Fabregas, are almost non existent outside, because they focus more on Rhumba, Fabregas got famous for Mascara not for Brenda, 12eme Dan, Manix etc. Deplock got successful and got those contract in Ivory Coast cause of En Africae, Security and all those generique, Heritier's got a strong.comeback after the success.oft he first album with Mi Ange and so kn, Ferre still to this day didn't replicate the success of Sens Interdit as a generique and doesn't promote good generique like Kipelekiese, Okalikota, Tshuluba etc. But focuses on the generique who are the worst. Fally got bigger yes buy before making rhumbas he pushed hard really hard his generique which made him bigger, people danced to Original, Elok'Oyo etc.
