He was hated by many leaders, but also loved my upcoming stars (they would later also hate because of royalties). They held him responsible for killing Thu Zahina, splitting bands Viva La Musica and Zaiko Langa Langa multiple times.

But it’s because of him that artists like Nyboma, Pepe Kalle, King Kester Emeneya, Bozi Boziana, etc became big stars.

"Veve 8 Piste"  - Vercky really trailblazed - leading the way for modern music production in Zaire/DRC. Some were not pleased with his tactics at times, but his impact is undeniable. RIP
