It always spooks me that a lot of WMM staff and close affiliates died fairly young of mystery reasons.
The were heavy in kindoki during that era.. my friends used to tell me to avoid Zamba Playa because the folks in the crowd were not normal

if vieux nico bwakongo was still alive. i would have like to see an interview of him with mbuta likasu to hear about his contributions in tabu ley's afrisa, collaboration with mbilia bel, zaiko langa langa, wenge 4x4, the work he did behind the scenes for wenge maison mere and operation dragon. so sad that he passed away.
hugues kitambala's death was really scary and weird. bercy suddenly getting unwell and falling down on stage. but in a few secondes standing up and then hugues kitambala being victim of a heart attack. it traumized all fans that attended the public rehearshal at zamba playa.
