This problem as created problems with Bracongo and made Nyoka Longo mis the promised villa in Kasa-Vubu

probably the last concert you were certain to watch in many congolese houses you'd go to
its sad how now people would rather watch manicke ken mosaka alexis wetchi and co on tv than concerts(and its even more sad how many artists have dropped in level in their concerts)

What do you think is missing from concerts nowadays? Is it a lack of choreography? I know watching Wenge and QL back in the day, each singer had a dance solo or their female dancers were promoted by name. I couldn't tell you these new folks if you paid me, they don't really give space for group members to build an identity in the way Werra allowed for Bill, Ferre, Baby, and so on

today's concerts are too centered on leaders,and they all are willingly weaker in something because of "being the leader"
 those who still perform at a high level in singing dont put much effort in dancing,the limited singers who are strong in dancing are caught by age and dont have anymore the level of "defence" giving them that extra energy,those whose presence is enough to get fans wild get away with minimal sexual waist slow mo twist and average singing,i just honestly see just one or more than one artist who is really really on point on everything
our music of today is more about "empty prestige" than about fans being very demanding and even having a power to have a word on recruitment or forceing musicians out because of drop of performance
 i saw days ago franck stemay get on adolphe's nerves hard about trophies and all that and insinuating he was a small artist because he did not have trophies,people are not even concerned with quality of what is the guys job,even if you are just making insects sound throughout a song if it goes viral and makes you tour and get a afrima,then they will respect you
