apart from that old conflict of years ago,there was a bit of more behind the scenes beef because of her having a kid,i am glad that they have sorted it out,i wish the other parent children conflicts also end up well

I have never understood this local stadium concert hype among Congo artists. Why do Congo artists attach so much importance to SDM? Anglophone musicians are more into competing over selling out tickets for top venues.

There’s a concert-ban in Europe. Which scares concertpromoters to lose money. Didn’t you see how JB’ Zénith of 2013 ended or the problems around Fally’s Bercy ? Ferre saw his event at Casino de Paris being cancelled by combattans because of them writing letters and those admins of that concert hall being afraid like many others who decided to do the same thing when there were concerts planned for Congolese artists.

Also with SDM bandleaders shows who about who being the real boss of the country. The same thing for French rappers/artists when performing at Stade de France. Booba showed with his concert there that he was still the most popular rapper despite a huge boycott from the media and setting a record attendance that day.

I don’t know. I need to ask my nephew about that. Surely about his many declarations he makes on social media. Like recently he show in Casablanca got cancelled, because of the way he raps about North African/Arab women.

Manzambi: The question has nothing to do with whether Ferre is doing it right or wrong. The question is about the significance of playing at SDM to Congolese artists in general. For Anglophone artists, it is more about filling popular venues across the world and how much they charge.

It is not, you are comparing two different things. If it was the case then why Werra, Fally and many others always brag about playing in Bercy, doing Double Zenith etc. You are treating a national concert like a sold out stadium at Wembley they are two different things. If I am an artist and I play in my country, hyping up the promotion how you gonna compare it with me being in an international tour? As I have Saud American music isn't suited for people who don't speak English, Fally tried it way before Burna Boy and Co. And where he went? It wasn't because he was trash but because it is hard enough for an African person to go outside let alone to try to break into America on the American market as an artist who doesn't speak English? Can you believe even Stromae is not as popular as Burna Boy in the states? Why? Do you think Stromae also is a person who only hype his Belgian concerts? Or is it because Stromae also is A Francophone speaking artist and all of his songs are mainly in French and despite his effort in his American tour he didn't get enough coverage as Burna Boy concert? Come on now. It seems like you want to find a reason to hate Ferre or Congolese artist in general over a national concert.
