he is just trying to defend himself and deflect from his own responsabilities this is by a countrymile the concert which had the longest time for promotion and he spent most of the time becoming self centered because of himself wanting to do like others and listen to the bad influence around him
he never allowed the band to promote until he fired gesac and co then musicians got forced to attack them to redeem themselves,has not given them even just one song for years,and all their songs of the last albums have never been followed with clips released while all of his own singles since then have how would they have been able to bring crowd,i thought what happened would be a wakeup call for him but unfortunately it looks like he is gone too deep into that idea that because he is intelligent its always his idea which is better than the band's who are all less intelligent according to him

Why doesn't he listen to his band? Maybe they have good ideas for artistic direction, lately his music hasn't been connecting with people. It could be time for different ideas. Is he afraid that he can't claim credit if he listens to them and the songs turn out successful?

Someone in here questioned Wazekwa's intelligence as he has always made people to believe. I can't remember who that was but yes even me now I question it. The way he handled the whole issue of Stade de Martyr, noo. It was a huge risk for him immediately going to Martyr after Ferre.

It was JV, it's not even about performing after Ferre he was never going to have it packed. He thought he could rely on Koffi, Fally and Fabregas's to promote the event and have their respective fanbase pack the event but even they couldn't save him. But yeah the constant negative buzz around him and his group really didn't help, similar to how Koffi first performed at Stade de Martyr in 1999 after Academia was formed and he also did a mpiaka.

yeah he was so suree especially of fally's mot d'ordre knowing that fally has arguably the biggest fanbase, he really mishandled the thing from start to finish
the group of chiefs who gave him the idea(ceden,joss,gesac,eclipse) were not associated in anything,he even waited for joss the main guy of the idea to leave before announcing his date which was never meant to be so soon the idea of joss was to plan by 2 years so that they reunite the two first generations of cultura who for most work and have family life in europe and in the meantime promote the new generation so that they build potential to attract people aswell which wazekwa did not do prefering to release several songs sang 98 per cent by him ,it was a complete mess where he overestimated himself by thinking rinse and repeat of those choreographies which already were making people laugh for 2 years was enough to wow people and that all he needed was his ideas those of jp and germain his brothers,the dressing by zeka and its all perfect
of all the martyrs ever only three really depended much of the fally bebe tshanda and maybe one between kester and ferre
all the rest was a collective contribution from start to finish and he though he was sooooo intelligent that only his ideas were worth it whereas its the musicians who live closer to the streets and who know what the streets want since they deal with street every day only gesac had a car in the whole band
its also like his grudges over 3 of the chefs never really ended and he got forced into accepting them back,so he still had a desire to punish them and he used this martyrs to humiliate them ,while they were those who were ready to make intense street promotion for him which he was not gonna do himself since he barely goes out,he only is out for music or business meetings
even at the press/social media level i received a lot of calls of people complaining that vieux was being stingy on promotion money so they would abandon,he thought that people would do it for free out of passion for our music,whereas 1 most of those people have very strong group preference either warrior or golois or they get money from heritier or they are koffiphiles who have been against koffi accepting peace with him,and 2 this is probably the most greedy generation of congolese people ever,everything has to have an interest for most people to do it

I've always maintained that family and business should generally be kept separate, I don't know why his brother's have influence over the group's salary. Eclipse, Cascadeur, and others must really love Wazekwa because this change in character must not be easy for them to accept.

To be completely honest taking Maison Mere and QL Aside you don't have recently a lot of guys who left went solo and succeeded for example can you name a successful ex JB successful musician? Or a successful Karmapa ex musicians a d so on? I say that to say this, it is hard enough doing music in Congo DR being a simple musician and being under a leader is even harder going solo and having g a proper band that you have to Make feel satisfied and with the full belly, so I think that Eclipse and Cascadeur and many others don't leave because they really don't know where to go and what to do, yes you have some guys who have crazy degrees of University, Bachelors and so on doing music and being g musicians but most of them are just simple people who feel lucky to do music for a living, I mean I love Cascadeur I really do and before Gessax came back he was really starting g to get recognition as an Atalaku getting invited in projects being shown on videos his cries being presented etc. But let's be honest if Cascadeur came solo and started a band how long will he last? Which songs will he make? How many possible customers are there to make him a decent living as a solo artist? Then you have Eclipse who despite his work, doesn't have any charisma or leader characteristics, he is talented and he can sing well and if you didn't hear his voice yy would think he have an high pitch voice, but if he went solo he would struggle hard he did that song with that Ina girl Maria de Milagros

And it was a great song but it barely cracked the 2k views after two years it still haven't had 1500 views, so I think that he really wants to leave especially after he refused Koffi, gave money to the musicians when there was a problem with payment out of his own pocket, but what else is the solution?
