And what’s even more annoying is that at concerts he’ll still perform those old generiques rather than the new ones. The success of papa mobimba was really the kiss of death for the atalakus in QL, has anyone not told him to stop? He’s not a natural atalaku it just sounds awkward.

Either the generiques that Koffi animates alone has to flop hard for him to return to his original style or a generique from a different group that uses atalakus has to be a huge hit in order to inspire Koffi to copy that style – which is a terrible dilemma, because Koffi knows how to make his generiques good enough to have success even if they seem repetitive with each new release
