Did anybody here, hear about Fally 48h Concert. Does he really plan to play straight 48h or does he only mean that he‘s going to play 2 days?

This reminds of the BCBG vs Maison Mère 24 hours concert challenges from the 2000’s (bad concerts btw). The band, with it’s limited depth will run out of steam and the crowd will whittle away slowly.
I think this more a pissing contest more than a plan to put a good show
I agree he’s a good singer, but doesn’t have the voice to last more than 2-3 hours. Most of his concerts are no more than that length

That’s fair enough. I feel like he needs to rest because he tours too much and he’s doing 98% of the singing.
That's more the reason that he has been urged even on this platform to recruit artists who can sing and hold their own. Then give them the platform. There are some of his competition(I won't name them so that it doesn't become a comparison and dilute the subject) that always have band members take the stage and do vocals and dances for like 30 minutes before the leader makes a grand entry.....imagine a concert with Nathan, Atele, Junior, Ambassy(before he left), Maiko(is he even still around), Ping Pong having to perform for that long before Fally shows up

Contrary to popular belief he actually has talented people in his group. I remember at U Arena Fally got a bit of backlash for not letting his singers sing, and he let them dance with his dancers and people wanted to see more. So he decided to test the waters by allowing Nathan to sing at London Wembley and Nathan got a standing ovation to the point a lot of people were taking pictures with him outside after, it’s then at Brussels he let them sing more.

And that side never seems to see the light. It has become almost the norm that Fally's singers are regarded as faux chantiers. The dangers of a one-sided story. Personally, I liked Masudi, Kalombo, Ibrahimovic, Iseboya and the one who sang like Modogo in the Zenith concert....worst of the worst Costeau, Atele, Nathan, Motuka, Ambassy :D :D :D

People must understand that Fally isn't Wenge, QL, Or BCBG, He is neither Werra, Koffi, or JB.
People outside of the guys who knows how the Congolese Orchestra is structured want to see Fally only, if you speak the 95% of the Fally fans outside of the Congolese Duasporta they can't even name you 5 orchestra guys of Fally whether it is musicians, or singers, I remember at U arena I had to explain to everyone around me who was who, so yes Fally would be fine by continuing with that formula, with that said I must say his singers gotten extremely better especially Junior, but we must be honest and ot act like people tune in for F'Victeam as much as they tune in for Fally

Me think Fally and FVicteam don't want to go the QLI way. History is there how QLA was formed and how it affected Koffi in one way or the other. Then again second QLI team which comprised of Bouro, Tshintu, Fally, Kingombe, Kusa etc left around the same period to a point when Mopao now decided no to giving rooms to the current crop of musicians. Now QLI is managed by two governments. One central government under Koffi and another government run by mama CY. So anything said by the two, the whole group will listen to it even if NO ONE gets video coverage in the next ten years they are okay. Fally is perfectly learning from his master.

48 hours of 80% rumba, 10% folklore and afromusic and 10% generiques and sebenes. I'm not even sure he has any sebenes, unless you count FVicteam's album. Fally also needs to dig deep and find something to give to his fans...
