So it makes sense now why JB Mpiana left Ali Mbonda behind for LSC. It was a stupid move from Ali Mbonda. I wonder why Ali Mbonda never talked about that.

But why kept Ali Mbonda staying in BCBG's circle (PPU's) in Kinshasa after being left behind for LSC until getting fired for visiting Koffi Olomide with Kilimanjaro, (which made JB bring Kilimanjaro to Europe for Internet) ?

It's a shame that he refused to give the reasons why he stayed in Europe after the Kibuisa Mpimpa-recordings. So on the end, the camp of Baby Ndombe were right to come with Ali Mbonda to convince Werra to bring him to Bercy instead of Shora Mbonda

What is the reason why all musicians of Empire Bakuba hate Lofombo ?

In short he explained how he started playing percussion, that he used to play for Mobutu’s propaganda-group and that he coached Ali Mbonda. Also that his real name is Alain. Then he talked about his time in Empire Bakuba, saying that he joined the band in 1990 and became back-up player of Yaya Londa (Djuna’s brother). He was also asked about Lofombo and him replying that he’s not happy, how he used to say that nobody used to come to Empire’s public rehearsal,  that it is a massive disrespect to Empire’s legacy and he and him weren’t there when Empire Bakuba used to have his first successes. He explained that he left Empire Bakuba after Pepe Kalle’s death because of guitarist Kinanga Boeing who was liking his girlfriend. His departure coincided with guys like late Wasenga Kipuni looking for him, because of Ali Mbonda having left Maison Mere. When he joined Adolphe gave him the nickname Kwilu-Ngongo (Canne à Sucre), refering to the city Kwilu-Ngongo the produces sugar. When he was about to get presented at La Zamba Playa in Werra’s presence (Werra wasn’t present during the previous rehearsal), some musicians of Maison Mere tried to do 12 on him, by letting another percussionist play, Shora doesn’t remember if it’s Madjeku’s son or his nephew Joel Madjeku (Madjeku was Zaiko’s percussionist in the 1980s). He also said that they prepared Bercy for like 4/5 months at La Colinne and in the last week Ali Mbonda. Shora said that people were gossiping about Ali to JB Mpiana in Wenge BCBG and him thinking that JB would leave him behind, then some guys in Maison Mere that weren’t liking him bringing him to Werrason, saying that it was better to bring Ali to Europe to play at Bercy and record Kibuisa Mpimpa. But he was lucky that Ferre Gola and Burkina Faso being against it. In addition, he said that Ali couldn’t look him at his eyes, when he came to La Colinne. Also Ali tried to challenge him spiritually and wore white clothes and also had some magic perfume on him. The day Ali came, Shora played like he never did before and Ali Mbonda hadn’t even played percussions. Later on, during the last rehearsal at La Zamba Playa, Werrason gave him his ring to Shora and musicians asking if Shora hadn’t witchcraft. Shora Mbonda said that, what Ali Mbonda did to him (the spiritual challenge), Ali shouldn’t do that to him, because he was the person who thought him playing percussion. Towards the end, Franck Stemay asked why he decided to stay in Europe and that Ali Mbonda still ended up by rejoining, but Shora couldn’t give a clear answer,  alluding that some people in Maison Mere weren’t liking him and that it was something spiritual

I got a theory for you Mfumu Vata on most Empire Bakuba musicians hate Gode Lofombo: DECLINE OF DJUNA MUMBAFU (DJOUNA MUMBAFU) AND COCKTAIL WITH DELTA FORCE ANIMATORS
The likely reasons why people like Shora Mbonda, Djuna Mumbafu (Djouna Mumbafu), Doris Ebuya, Elvis Kunku, Papy Tex, Dilu Dilumona, Djodjo Ikomo, Rolls Papillion, Lugilo, Desouza Santu, Biya Chante, Yaya Londa and even Kinanga Boeing 737 (he is the one who brought Lofombo into Empire Bakuba) resent Gode Lofombo because of two factors: The decline of Djouna Mumbafu and the final album of Pepe Kalle which was Cocktail.
Remember in 1996, Tutu Callugi brought a new animation style that ruined older animators like Dituala and Ya Nono. It also ruined Djouna Mumbafu. When Djuna Mumbafu started to lose momentum, Empire Bakuba started to crumble. Then remember the strong conflict with Papy Tex and Pepe Kalle over Papy reportedly sleeping with Pepe's sister who was a dancer of the group as well as Papy's rage at Pepe for allowing Empire Bakuba make their album Savoir Vivre. Also the conflict between Dilu Dilumona and Kinanga Boeing 737 got much stronger as Kinanga would be nominated Vice President. To make matters worse, many Empire Bakuba musicians including Kinanga were already looking for new animators to slowly kill Djuna's power.

Who got to gain advantage during all these dramas: Gode Lofombo
After sadly getting shot, Gode Lofombo was getting closer to Pepe Kalle and Pepe Kalle was spending more and more time with Lofombo which angered many people especially Djuna Mumbafu and Kinanga Boeing 737 who were previously Pepe's favorite people in Empire Bakuba. Shora Mbonda was among those who were becoming more angier towards Gode Lofombo. Part of this anger is because Gode Lofombo got some younger musicians who would be known as Delta Force which leads the Cocktail album. On this album, Gode Lofombo was the one in charge in my opinion because if Empire Bakuba folks had it their way, Djuna Mumbafu would have never animated at one time. Look at Dilu Dilumona's album Tour de Babel, they were already looking to get rid of Djouna eventually. Gode Lofombo ironically helped Djuna keep some space in Empire Bakuba which made Pepe Kalle very happy as he loved Djuna so much. During the Cocktail album, Lofombo started to diminish the role of Elvis Kunku and also Kinanga Boeing 737, Doris Ebuya, Rolls Papillion and Mp Cherie appeared to feel less appreciated which add more rage towards Lofombo. During this time, it appears that Djouna Mumbafu was at Gode Lofombo because he was now spending more time with Pepe Kalle than him. I am sure the anger was add over the fact Lofombo got two new atalakus Papy Rebelle and John Scott Ortega who sounded similar to Djouna which I am sure made Djouna feel like he got a 12. At this point, the Empire Bakuba musicians like the presidents Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex would get so mad that Pepe Kalle added those Delta Force folks into Empire Bakuba. Now I believe that if Pepe Kalle had lived longer, I am sure that he would splitted them into two groups which would have Empire Bakuba Kadima (with Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex) and Empire Bakuba Delta Force (with Gode Lofombo, Djuna Mumbafu and Kinanga Boeing 737).

These are the likely reasons that musicians like Shora Mbonda have a strong resentment towards Lofombo.
What do you think Mfumu Vata? I would love to hear your ideas.

But if Alì was so deep into witchcraft, (like all Maison Mere's musicians ae) why Alì was always treated bad in Wenge and had always been given the short end of the stick despite being other same level of Papy Kakol in terms of time served with Werra maybe even more. I remember him going crazy over Taddet being given the role by Werra to chose who would be given by Car by Gilles Massua, that was hilarious even tho sad. Unfortunately Werra got the video taken down cause tbh it was a bad look but there was Alì extremely.mad saying that it was Werra who should have chosen.
Tbh even if Werra chosen I hardly think he would have given something to Alì, tbh it is so sad the story of Alì Mbonda, he indirectly said that he was slapped sometimes but despite that even in Werra's political campaign was the most vocal members about Werra being a hood politician and so on. But if you see Alì now it seems like he never got anything from Wenge.

I've seen the videos of Jimmy Mbonda with Teddy Mola talking about the problems he had with Ali Mbonda. The part of imitating Ali's voice and saying 'Ali Mbonda chambre naye salite' killed me hahaha

Do you have the video of Manzeku ?

i hope i will find it again,it was in early la team days he said that the inside of his arm(paume de main) got red and bigger after he started playing a bit more in concerts and when he goes home the arm becomes normal again, because werra was punishing ali for the fact he was complaining about salary a lot(which ultimately lead to him going to bcbg hearing that there was better salary there or bigger donors)

But why Alì haven't stayed in BCBG? And why he thought it was a good idea to take Kilimandjaro to Koffi? Knowing the beef JB and Koffi had? Plus if Alì was deep into witchcraft why Werrason never gave him any benefits a sapary or something like that?

He didn't stay because he was fired after receiving an angry call from JB who was in Europe. It were just gossips from people close to JB that who were living in Kinshasa and JB immediately believing, while Ali went to Koffi to do matolo since that Ma'Gode, who was Koffi's ex'wife, was related cousin. Btw, he was not the only one from BCBG that used to do matolo on Koffi. In years between 1998-2001, guys like Alain Mpela and Tutu Calugi used to go sometimes to Montfleury to do matolo on Koffi, which used to frustrate QL-members. I think that it wasn't a problem for them, since that they were influent members. They stopped going when the war between Koffi and JB went on another level. It has been said that during the war of Werrason against Koffi, after Maisha Parc,  some musicians of Wenge Maison Mere still used to go to Koffi to do matolo

I am not sure if it was Desouza or someone else, but I remember him saying that Pepe Kalle was mad at Papy Tex having an affair with his little sister Charlie who used to dance in Empire Bakuba, after that Papa Wemba informed him. In the same period, Lofombo also made an interview that Pepe Kalle was in conflict with both Dilu Dilumona & Papy Tex and that was not showing up anymore in those public rehearshals and also seriously thinking about leaving Empire Bakuba, after that one of the bandleaders (I guess Papa Wemba) saying that leading bands in co-leadership was not of this time anymore and was slowly preparing his departure with Delta Force, but didn't know how to start.
