The chorus of Sam, Modogo, Suzuki, Eric Menthe & Mustapha was something else.
In my opinion in Viagra Sam sang his absolute best and was at his peak at that point and wasn’t messing around, he was blending his Magie voice and Loi Ultimatum voice together.
Those vocals by Eric Menthe were on point ahh what a singer Jb and Bcbg really misused him, it could’ve been better for him to join QL instead because he was the exact tenorist that Koffi likes and was missing. Good Animation by Mboshi and Eric Menthe too lol

indeed for me if he had joined latino instead of tonton lay he'd probably would be in the golden team straight away or in maison mere instead of kojack who was only better in dancing to replace ferre ,found himself extremely unlucky to be in a position which had chai ngenge the boss favourite and bogus who was providing songs so had to sing in them automatically,so he just had to be a side guy here and there

I remember as a young kid at 5-6 hearing academia sanction, immediately wondering why I didn’t hear Koffi and the whole album sounds like Koffi… a few years I closely followed the evolution between both camps (Koffi & academia) I saw attentat happen, and I saw mpela return… For me personally I loved the first album start to finish, sonically the group sounds hungry & alive, from the first song there’s no doubt. The second album I wasn’t impressed… at all.
I don’t know why but majority songs I immediately tuned out. Modogo has a great song on the album but the rest unfortunately no.

I've gotta disagree with you there. Viagra was a good album Academia sounded like they found their own identity, Sanction was the perfect album but it was also a pure Quartier Latin album without Koffi. In Viagra they hit their artistic maturity and there were good songs like Zabalumbu (too underrated song in my opinion), Certitude, Love Story, Collation, Somunkiriye, Tres fort. Come to think of it there isn't a single bad song in Viagra but I do think the generique is a bit underwhelming compared to Sanction and I think the Sebene in sanction are way better and I prefer Sanction above Viagra but Viagra is still a good album.
