Title: I think that Soleil's first album would fail anyway even if it had alot of promo

Back in 2008-09, Soleil's album Apres Toi, was one of the most awaited albums, many people thinking that he would succeed like Fally and Ferre, influent donors giving alot of money to have a song or shout-out on that album. But the album sadly flopped very hard.

I never listened fully to that album only 2 or 3 songs + the generique. So this year I finally took the time to listen to the whole album and I came to the conclusion that the album misses tracks that could carry the album, like for example Droit Chemin who had Liputa, Kidiamfuka and Associe or Sens Interdit that had Biberon, Qui Vivra Verra and Mercure. The songs were not bad, but just songs that are meant to accompany hitsongs on albums. Even if they would promote the album very hard, it flop anyway. Mirage's album Style de Figure for example barely received promotion, but the song Mon Bebe was a massive hit and the album succeed. The same for Jus d'Ete Mulopwe first two albums.

maybe also the mistake he did was to want to sing "too classic",most singers of that type when they go solo they tend to try to sing differently to "look more serious" but thats not what people liked them for, look at how his feat with ferre was received because that was the real soleil people know with those voice variations
