Blaise has always been the odd man out, it’s always Jb Werra and Adolphe together but Blaise himself is never there same thing with Jb’s son Abraham and Kesters daughter wedding smh

It is nice to publicly see Ferre Gola and Werrason salute one another. I am so happy to see this. It is long overdue. This is good news however I wonder how Koffi will feel about Ferre and Werrason saluting one another considering that he and Werrason are not in great terms right now. I hope Koffi does not get mad about this.

kakol's heartfelt tribute to his best friend seguin,for those who did not know both have been friends since primary school and started music together in late 80's early 90's when seguin was being in three groups at the same time,larms with kibens,versace musica with his cousins bouro and maitre yoka and in kibinda nkoy with doudou kakol cele vilba and co
kakol is revealing to the world that seguin was a huge inspiration to the style he plays which they have been building since their childhood(but jb was refusing that seguin plays like that because for him there was "unnecessary overcomplicated" stuff so he played titina's style and had to create his own version of "uncomplicated" drumming)
and that he is also mourning him as the president of the association of congolese drummers

So all the insults we threw at Seguin for playing drums like that was uncalled for, it is insane, I really wish JB let him play like Kakol did with that very complex and intricate drumming style that Kakol has been known for in the years, Do you have any example of the drumming style that Seguin actually wanted to play played by him?

listen to nzoto na nzoto generique of celeo or quel est ton probleme for example,he tried going for a "simplified" version of their style with kakol but then had to moved back to the style he was playing since anti terro,inspired by kimbanguist church(then the stroke on his left side behind left sided made him weaker)
there was a generique back in the days where he fully went to their style but it was not released,seguin even used to talk about it in some interviews that jb was telling him" ba passage ebele boye oza na niongo ya nani,beta calmement"
i think jb wanted him to play like zaiko's drummer roucoulet,barely anything extravagant,mainly oriented about keeping the pace of the sebene,simple and efficient

The funerals served us all the inevitable noise and antics of our music lol there was also a moment when maison mere were performing in the tribute concert when singer designer was sent to take by force the mic of dinara while dinara was in the middle of a vocal or the way heritier got caludji to go the second line so that he is seen in the first line next the wenge 0G's and use it for his beef with ferre

genta missed a fair part of the funerals,because he was often fainting when seeing the coffin...i think he must regret hard that they finally managed a fully peaceful relationship too late

Blaise is hot headed and I think he doesn't forgive easily. You can't always be the one having issues with everyone. Ya Nsone also is too sleak likes playing his friend. :D
I like how easy going Adolphe is. Always there for everyone.

you summed it up well,blaise does not look like it but he's one hell of a hot headed guy,he was already the first to be "causing trouble" back at the start of the serious wenge in mulolo by deciding to boycott studio over a disagreement,it took days and days of jb masela makaba werra begging him to come to sing as alain mpela who did his part did not have a mature voice enough to stand the role well,so he had to do additional chorus when all the rest were done with it
and in the split as well its his anger against werra when werra called him a coward which kicked everything to another level and which was a point of no return,because then blaise would take most of the group to prove werra a point and then associated jb knowing jb has the leadership and the visas and all that already

I hate to say this but in DRC funerals give you a vibe that no festival and concert can give you……….as much as it is painful but some moments in these funerals are so heartwarming, I remember even on Cellulier’s funeral it was one of the very few times where you could see atalakus doing something together

Comgolese music is a very competitive field, no one likes to be under someone and unfortunately Funerals for many musicians and leaders is where they can peacefully co exist, it is crazy to think that Except for guys like Innoss who tried to work with the Old leaders like Werra and Koffi early in his career and few others like Gaz Mawete it is hard to see Congolese artist work with other Congoelse artist but in Nigeria you have no problem seeing that which is also one.of the reason why Nigerian music is so forward if you compare it with ours
