Looks like Mbuta Likasu really liked Alain Kabobo. Btw, I saw him do different interviews these last days to talk about Dakumuda. It would be nice if Mbuta looked interview him to talk about his time in Quartier Latin. Also to know, how it was when Bouro Mpela rejoined Quartier Latin and how their relation was, because he dissed him every hard. The crazy thing is that they put his name in the credits of the Force de Frappe-clips, but he didn't dance in any clip. Many musicians that were mentioned didn't appear in the clips. It was unfair from Koffi to fire Chikito Mutakatif, because of Bouro's return and his conflict with Mamale, but still keeping Alain Kabobo 'aka Sarbatino le Batracien', while Kabobo had the same profile like Bouro. Koffi's love for the old guard (Champion, Felly, Nseka, Mamale and later Binda) was to big. You would think that they did witchcraft on as a team, like the way people claimed this about JDL, Kibens, Chai and Rio having done it on JB.

I would like to know if Champion left because of Kamodje or Titina. Because 10 or 12 years ago, Cambodge claimed that Champion left because of him playing 2 generiques and Champion leaving mad the studio. But Titina in one interview said that when he joined Quartier Latin, Champion was still there and Effrakata already mixed. Jipson also said the same thing here.In another Titina said that Koffi let him participate to few songs (He probably re-played Champion's parts) in the presence of Champion & Kamodje and Koffi saying out loud that he ask his drummers to play like .... and the rest replying TITINA!!, Champion than not showing up anymore at the concert that followed the week after last recording-sessions. But if you watch Koffi's concert in Bilbao, you will not see Titina nor Champion. Champion himself said 10/11years ago, when working on his EP, that he left because of Koffi prefering to pay a drummer 100 dollars instead of 500 dollars (which can't be no other than Cambodge). So what version is correct ?

The story about Effrakata created confusion. Jipson said that they prepared whole Effrakata in France and immediately recorded it over there. But during covid, some musicians said in live-recordings and also a few in interviews (I think Cambodge) that they prepared the album at Mama Amy's house. Also if they did everything in Europe, how could they sing already Suivez le Guide and the original version of Bilan, which was already sung by Anti-Choc in the VHS "Les Coulisse de la Grande Ecole" ?

Also the part about buying Benz made me ask multiple questions. Because there was one musician, I don't remember who, who said that it was not true that Koffi bought them all Benz, explaining that it was just their own money and Koffi just adding money to pay the customs. Also saying that they just lied about Koffi having bought them cars to make rivals jealous. One of the many old mikiliste that Teddy Mola interviewed claimed that those "Carte Rose" that they showed on tv to claim that each car officialy on their name was fake, when giving examples about how black people/arabs used to make fake papers for squat-housers in France, the moment a house-owner would start a lawsuit to get his house back. Talking about the cars, last year Baby Ndombe claimed that Fally took his car of the Solola-Bien tour and that Koffi went to convince his sugarmom to sell it to Fally, to go with it to Kinshasa. This created alot of polemic and different spokemen going hard on Baby Ndombe, especially Ma'Nicke. So which version is true ? It also been said that Koffi had a man who he used to give shouts-outs in generiques and main-songs (I wont mention his name), used to steal cars for him. He would mention him as "gu.. yaka na .... ". Those rumors only became stronger when the combattants-phenomenon started.

It has been said that Koffi said to his musicians during the Bercy-tour that he would not pay them directly, but instead of it pay them cars (mercedes benz) and once being in Kinshasa, give them gifts and the remaining money. This made Mamale apparently very angry and people that were close to them reporting it to Koffi. Mamale was even asked about it, during an interview that was made to attack JF Ifonge and Savanet Depitcho, which was a bonus in the VHS 'Mokonzi' (second part of the Attentat-clips). Thinking about it, I wonder if it was not the real reason why Koffi left him behind for the Effrakata-tour and Koffi taking revenge in the months prior to it coming to the tour with different 12. Eric Tutsi once said in an interview that they already agreed in Kinshasa before Bercy, to get cars instead of payment. According him, this also being the reason why he ran away after performing in Brussels and staying there, before coming back when QL already started recording Force-de-Frappe.

I thought that the story of Lola Muana selling his car to buy a house, Koffi beating him for it and buying the car back, was after Affaire d'Etat. I'm also surprised to hear that Eric Tutsi also sold his car. Now I see, how his hate against Eric Tutsi started. In one of the interviews, after coming back in Kinshasa from Bercy, Koffi warned the musicians that he won't pay money if their cars get damaged. Sadly shortly after, the war of shegues against Koffi started, after that Koffi ran over a shegue in matongé (rumors said that it happened multiple times and that one even died). So to take revenge, they damaged Eric's car when Quartier Latin were performing at Cinemax. Eric than asking money to fix his car, Koffi (who had probably some grudge about Eric having tried to sold his car) becoming seriously mad and chasing him away. Eric also having the bad luck to come late to the following concert and from then only receiving 12 starting. The 12 becoming worser when Michaud Chamberton joined and let him sing Dulcinée in every concert in Eric's presence. Eric ended up by getting left behind for Effrakata.

If I were a musician at Bercy of 2000, I'm not buying a car with my salary or gifts from donors. Maybe it's because most of them were young but you would think they'd buy a decent plot of land and build a modest home. After that, then maybe have fun on cars and clothes. But maybe Koffi had spies by design to keep his group "poor" and easy to control.

I've always said I wouldn't have fired Chikito or left him behind in Kin for Bercy, he contributed a lot to the group during his stay there with the choreography and some vocals. In hindsight it would've been better for him to go instead of Mustapha who ended up stealing his place because what ended up happening? Mustapha ran away during the tour so it was a waste. I think he wasted his time in Les PPU even himself he said he didn’t want to leave QL and he preferred his time there then compared to his time in BCBG but the only positive thing he could take away from BCBG he was able to perform in Bercy and come to Europe
Koffi and some other musicians once said they would prepare songs in Kin then when they came to Europe they would add or finish the preparations in Europe (by choosing which songs wouldn't make the album, mabanga etc). Because even Ridens Makosso's song Mea Culpa from Force de frappe is actually Soleil's song which he prepared in Kin thinking he was going to Bercy but ended up getting left behind so he gave Ridens the song.
It was Jordan that revealed in his interview on IG live that it was them that bought the cars and not Koffi.

Wasn't it about group-albums ? Because Modogo said something similair like Jipson, that they would not know any songs of the album until they arrived in Europe, them rehearshing the whole album and recording it straightway, adding that it was alot of work.
I think that journalists have to come with a true or false-concept, inviting 5 musicians of one band and ask them questions that create confusion, like for example about the cars of Bercy or who about founded Wenge, having then for example Aime Buanga, Didier Masela, Kija Brown and Werrason on the same table.
Chikito's would presence would have been beneficial for the group. The choreographies that Fally and Bouro created for Effrakata and Affaire d'Etat were good. But I think that Chikito's idea would push it even higher. Look how at the cheographies of the PPU's at Bercy and the one they did at Trabendo. If he stayed in Quartier Latin it would have been a bomb
