and i'd say the vieux is badly missing an artistic direction,back in the days he had a backline which had members who were good enough to potentially walk into most group's starting backline and them challenging him sometimes even though like all leaders "the last decision" came from him,now the only person who is in position to confront him is "bebe" and not patron so he'll keep doing either his chicotte a papa children or bootleg tata mobimba's then do some urban music to show he refuses to get too old lol

Koffi Olomide remixing Loi is an unforgivable crime against music—a musical war crime if you will. Who asked for this? Who needed this? Nobody!
Loi is a certified classic, a monument in Congolese music, the kind of song that should have been left untouched, preserved in a glass case at the Louvre. But no, Koffi, in his infinite lack of judgment, decided to butcher his own masterpiece. It’s like Michelangelo waking up one day and deciding to repaint the Sistine Chapel in graffiti.
And for what? Auto-Tune and recycled beats? The sheer audacity of taking a song that defined an era, that shook stadiums, that made people lose their minds on the dance floor, and turning it into this overproduced, lifeless, attention-seeking disaster is beyond comprehension.
What happened, Koffi? Were you sitting around, sipping some overpriced champagne, and suddenly thought, "You know what would be a good idea? Ruining my legacy." Because that is exactly what you have done.
This remix is a betrayal to every 90s kid who danced to the original, to every fan who held Loi as a sacred anthem, and to the entire genre of soukous music itself. Instead of evolving gracefully like the legend he is, Koffi has decided to chase clout in the most embarrassing way possible, slapping a remix on a timeless hit just to stay relevant.
What’s next? A reggaeton version of Ultimatum? A trap remix of Effrakata featuring some random TikTok rapper? Please, Koffi, let classics be classics.
The only thing left to do now is delete that remix from existence, issue a public apology, and pretend this never happened. Loi deserved better. We all deserved better.

the bad thing with koffi is that every single of his recent dance songs,it looks like he does not target neither the adults nor the adolescent and early adults who are the main actors now of the noise around our music,but rather babies so everything is done with the spirit of those chill childhood songs and since he is a poor dancer anyways its perfect,he used to be the king or one of the two kings of the best strategic moves but it looks like he lost it by trying to think he is just adapting to the new generations this hippodrome concert calls for a banger of a generique and a strong rumba with good vocals of his singers and massive promotion thats how he'll motivate the youngins who will bbe more than half the crowd not be trying to be too slick in trying too hard to show you still have a young mindset

Tshe Tshe De Balle is there at 25:05 between Asso and Suzuki, looks like he’s a singer now lol. But seriously Koffi needs to bring QL from Kin or at 4/6 singers from there because this Latino Fasion ehh I don’t know it’s just not cutting it. A few years ago the Latino fashion team was decent and promising but then a lot of them left when Cindy came.
