Known for having done session work as atalaku for General Défao, Awilo Longomba, Aurlus Mabele, Madilu System, Felix Wazekwa, Rigo Star, Guy-Guy Fall, Aimé Buanga, Luciana Demingongo, etc. Also being the one of the youngsters that were considered as "Bana Poto", those who grew up in Europe, that started ndombolo-bands in France. Him having created with his friends the group Jeunes Priemers which had bandmembers such Olivier Kalabasi (today gospelsinger), Mike Diapason, Dallas Yambosi, Kukuson, etc. Them touring in several African countries. Also when he went solo, getting the chance to go Colombia, Saint Martin, etc.

Nono Manzanza was a great talent during the late 1990s and early 2000s. I am glad that he did this interview with Papy Gene. It is good to hear him. Hopefully, he can do an album with a medley of his classic animations that he did.
