He got asked about his band "royaume de belgique" and he lost it when asked,and it turns out that royaume de belgique was the unofficial name of his group like jetset with ferre when he had started solo career before fully settling in france for long,and one day he had not paid musicians for long and came to france then came back to kin and musicians were angrily waiting for him and the beat him and "fired him from his band" and some then went to other groups
jipson even said once in interview that he knows that one of his musicians went to ferre's group and when he said he came from jipson's group ferre asked why he was wasting his time there

This is so funny everytime I watched it, but tbh Jipson was so wrong in this, the journalist only asked a question, but maybe Jipson given the story you have given saw this as an attempt to being humiliated by the journalist and talk about the story of being beaten.
