I'm angry at Zulema because he missed out on big opportunities because of his addiction. But despite it all, he gave us joy and provided for his family. I'll find some peace tonight knowing that his battle with addiction is finally over, prayers for his family and friends 🙏🏿

RIP Zulema, I always had hope he would beat his addiction, apart from being a fantastic singer his work as an Atalaku cannot go unnoticed too, this generique was fire.

Unfortunately not surprised, and I hope people will not say anything bad about JB because he tried everything, unfortunately, when a person has an addiction the only person who can do something about it is the person itself, with that said

A sad coincidence being that his last vocal is the tribute to seguin,where despite his health he still gave a very good vocal
hopefully the bcbg guys pull through all this somehow,seguin's trauma is still very very fresh until today they cry at mere mention of him now zulema who was another strong favorite of the band

Numerous people and some ex BCBG musicians warned us this was coming if he didn’t get the help he needs. Sad to see this happen. RIP

The thing is that he did get help,but taking him to europe was tricky,i think for two reasons one being that his issues started from there til his maison mere spell til his 21 and half years in bcbg the second being the still fresh memory of seguin behind sent alive talking laughing and coming in a coffin,tricky situation
i would also not be surprised if a doctor messed up something,as it happened in some of the deaths,when you know for example that back in the days ya lengos got given a perfusion full of sugar to heal his flu or whatever it was while being a serious diabetic,even i think in the madilu case something like that if i remember well

the country keeps going backwards and backwards,what is always surprising me is that those guys at the head of the country have been to all the most modern possible places but cant think about implementing some of it at home,and they'd go to europe even for sore teeth because they know how crap most of our hospitals are,or are extremely expensive for nothing,just look at the seguin case nearly 70k spent in kin alone over a bad mix of injury and diabetes

His wife is very composed, I can't imagine navigating through grief of losing your husband, the father of your children, and being in the public eye because of his profession.
As for JF, he's an absolute disgrace. For a born again Christian, he's too comfortable talking about the politics of secular music. Why does he care? Why is his opinion on this tragedy or anything related to music necessary? He should be offline living a quiet Christian life

i think the amount of challenge she has faced with him kind of toughened her up even in her previous appearances she was often composed despite how serious the situation of her husband was,it had been a long long long time since they had a peaceful 6 months

And that's exactly the problem with JF Ifonge and his generation of "Frere and Sr en Christ" take what is convenient to further their case from the Bible , and omit the things who will call them out, there is nothing written in the Bible that favors gossip, fake news or disrespecting.the recently.deceased as Zulema is, but.of course his fans since he is talking against "Miziki ya Mokili" will drink it up

If he could do it and did not, he's wrong.
Hospitals in Congo are not good anymore. We all know it. Even for his addiction, rehab centers are better in Europe.
By leaving him in Congo in those conditions, they basically let him to die.

Our musicians are not really proactive with potential death threat there is always believe that things will improve,seguin's case was a forced exception massively helped by who he was,to get a visa very quick since the guy was known till the circle of the president of republic
when bcbg went to usa the plan was to leave zulema there and jb told them since kinshasa that him zambrotta and virginie would stay there,they even tried to trick him by changeing the hour of meeting to go back but he strongly refused and argued saying that his career is in kinshasa and his family,so he returned i believe somebody said that he was in such hurry to go back that he forgot some of the money fans gave to him there and they treated him at 3 or 4 of the hospitals by indians and foreign people in general playing the waiting game for the next europe tour where they'd leave him there by force
i would not be surprised if kabuya was tricked to stay because in his case he did not really want to stay either,only thing which helped is meeting that girl who became his girlfriend

just came across a video of ma denise bokoya,zulema's wife when she was crying before composing herself to give interviews and she was saying that they had visas for europe and that he died earlier and changed the plans

he did a little bit,but what made it easy was that i dont remember which of the admins whether eliott or monib or cris one them i remember told the manzaka and co to spread to fans that the group had enough of him and that handleing zoulema and adjani at the same time was not possible so even when he left he still contributed to maison mere in his early years despite being in bcbg

It's possible, I could only find footage of two concerts that Zulema was on stage with Maison Mere. From what I heard, Zulema's contributions were mostly songwriting and rehearsing songs that would become A La Queue Leu Leu.
It's too bad he left because people went crazy whenever he would sing the refrain of J’en Ai Assez. Even if he had no addiction problem, would he feel comfortable with Werra's group? Zulema can't dance in a group of strong dancers like Bill, JDT, Ferre, Baby, and Heritier. He's noticably a lot older than those boys, isn't he the same age as JB Mpiana?
