I don't want to be disrespectful since she's a mother and an elder, but Mère Amazon seems greedy. Anytime her name pops out, it's about her being too aggressive for money (the house story, the Reddy situation, the percentage situation and now this ngulu stuff).

She's ruining a lot of good opportunities for her late husband's name to remain out there and also for all these people that worked with him for years.

Bro,  we are Congolese, unfortunately Congolese music doesn't have the same structure that American music has, in the past even with a bad deal as an American artist you could make money on CDs, Shows, Merchandise, guest appearances, now maybe American artist doesn't have much money from CD sales as before, and maybe streaming doesn't make as much but boy they do take big money on Tours and private concerts, with Congoleee artist instead, given the fact of how massive the cost are to record (Imagine recording a 10 minutes song with at least 10 singers 10 live instrumentalist and choir who intertwines between them to then release a song in which unless you don't have the European market you will probably not see any money from your CD sales (Pirated music in Congo is everywhere you would have someone buy a CD and re sold it etc. Etc) so the only way artists make money in Congo is in live performances (usually in other countries cause Congolese venues see struggling hard, cause the country is struggling) and in Mambanga songs in which you can get 10 to 50 K per song. Now unfortunately Oapa Wemba is dead, he was under a label, and surely the label didn't left any control of his music to the family right, so given how all of Mere Amazon mere are grown and have their own life, and I don't know if she works, how do this woman will feed her selves? She has to be extremely hard on Papa Wemba's music because tbh her out of all people should be the one eating off of her own music.
It is true that Congolese music is made of guys outside of the leaders but I hope these people can understand where Mere Amazon comes from
