I still listen to Cresois from the released album. I always enjoy where Flamme snuck in with a banging solo followed by Celeo's animation. This demo version is completely different from the animations to the solo licks to the arrangements...crazy. I prefer the Album version. I wonder what changed the concept.

The concept changed because they involved Maïka Munan and Philippe Guez as arrangers along with session musicians like Djudju Chet, Etienne Mbappe and Guy Nsangue. Mabanga customers wanted to hear their names in Congo, made vocals being modified, by some part of lyrics being replaced by names. The same with songs, Augustine Ngaly for example originally being dedicated to David Lembe

Can I ask? Was the demo version actually recorded in the US?

It was not recorded in USA. In US they just spent 24 hours. They left UK to perform in New York, to leave it the following day for Canada. However, they apparently came to late and didn't perform anymore. Also Celeo and Ali Mbonda weren't there in US and Canada while in the demo-album they participated.

Celeo was abandoned in UK, because Werrason wasn't liking him. Ali Mbonda stayed in UK, to sacrifice himself to go in prison in France later, in order to short the problems out that Maison Mère had
