I feel bad for Desi, he has promise. Some say he either overstayed in Europe and did't promote his group in Kin enough but I think it's more that he lacked the local support.

I still remember that program where the audience were criticizing Desi decision to release so close to JB Mpiana's Internet and Werrason's Kibusia, the perception was that he was fighting an impossible battle for success at that moment.

I know barely something about Desi's career, but I think that since he started his band in Kinshasa that he spended most of the time in Kinshasa but I am not sure. In the era when those youtube-analyse were on their height someone I don't remember if it was Ken Mpiana or Mbuta Likasu, but one of them said that if there's an artist that promotes his music on tv alot in Kinshasa, then it would be Desi Mbwese. It was a reaction to the discussion if witchcraft is necessary to succeed as an artist and if huge promotion helps.

I don't know if it's the same interview, because I hadn't watched it yet, but I  somewhere a footage where Christian Schengen explained how Koffi ordered him and Mbetenge to fire Jitrois and Joss Diena. The way Jitrois got fired was really nasty, especiallly how they chilled with each a few hours ago and Marlene Kassanga also spotting them. I think that the video of Marlene explaining that Jitrois is fired, is still on youtube.
