A new artist or group needs to emerge to let the Ndombolo genre rebirth. It seems like the young generation is stuck on Flamme's partition of Kibuisa and guitarists are no longer creating, just interpreting or copying old guitar parts, instead of coming up with new styles that can make the continent dance like it used to be back in the day

You’ve spoken nothing but facts. Flamme is a legend but his style of playing fast was great but also bad and by bad I mean because nearly all generiques now are playing that style whilst there are many styles to do.

I also think sometimes these new soloists play Flamma Kapaya's catalog to low-key be appealing to Werra who is always looking for his next Flamme....This guy actually tweaked the licks if you listen very well. so, that's probably the social media audition before the audition..
