The second video made me a bit sad when seeing Pathy Moleso playing guitar. I was surprised to see JB Mpiana singing Chantal Switserland. It would have been great if he and Werrason took the idea that Ferre once had about Ferre contre Reddy, which was Reddy singing Ferre songs with his band and Ferre singing Reddy songs. Imagine Werrason singing Recto Verso, Grace à Toi Germain and Omba and JB Mpiana singing Augustine, 13 Ans and Calmement.
In the 2000s many people just put on Werrason, Emeneya and JB Mpiana of being a tribalist. But here JB Mpiana proved them wrong by showing some guys of his circle and them being Bakongo and Bangala. I remember Emeneya doing it twice in interviews, most of his people being Baluba and Mongo.
The first interview with Djo K was like Cribs. At that time it was rare to see Congolese artists sleeping in expensive hotels when coming to Europe. Most of them were just using Ibis. It's a shame that they cut the image when JB was about to swim. I just regret that JB didn't want to talk about Dock Eiffel.
