One of my friends posted it on snap but they were rehearsing suivez le guide. Looks like it really is going ahead. Good luck to them all, but from what I saw and where the singers are gonna positioned with the mic on stage…. I really pray they won’t be positioned there for the concert because otherwise it’s a joke.

this is what gives potential hope for a better quartier latin,when koffi does things with a certain level of excellence,it means he's taking things seriously,so imagine he applies the same level of seriousness to bringing back quartier latin,which even cindy herself is not against

Nah look at the stage settings the singers are all the way at the back on top the stage, its gonna be hard to see them but then again at least they're not sitting down on chairs like the team of joss and jitrois used to do which was just disrespectful lol, I don't think the group will make a comeback but I hope so.

First of all, we can say all we want about Koffi but I think we need to congratulate Le Grand Mopao for a spectacular show. 15 year absence since he last performed in Europe and you gotta say, it was a great success so fair play to him and to QL. And you think now that should open the doors for him and QL to perform in Europe more often

I‘m hearing a lot of negative comments from the younger generation but you can not expect the same from Koffi and Fally. Same as you can‘t expect the same from Beyonce and Madonna….

as ex quartier latin guys there was cambodge,somono and binda bass aswell with his new trademark yellow bass
honestly i dont think koffi will care that much about the content of the concert,its like a return and our artists all tend to do better once they got the pace of things again,koffi was meant to have a monumental flop crowd wise and was seen as a mad man to go for it with one month of promo,and still delivered the best promo yet probably since music is back
that quartier latin lineup was a mix of two or three lineups of latino fashion and the kin guys so one month was probably too short for a strong artistic cohesion

I must say the singers entrance at 10:22 is probably one of the best entrances in recent memory and it’s good for QL to return to its routes because they were the kings of dance entrances back in the day.
Keke Olomide doing the introduction you can just tell that was Didi Stone’s original job before if their unfortunate fall out.
It’s a shame that Jr33 got into a big car accident because he was barely on stage and this was his moment but at least he got to sing a bit. It makes sense why he wasn’t at a lot of rehearsals.
Lastly I really wish the singers mic positions wasn’t all the way at the back because it was hard to see their faces. But overall a good concert and good return to Europe for the group.
I wonder why Suzuki and Apocalypse didn’t participate lol especially Suzuki cause man burnt so many bridges with his colleagues in defence of Koffi and even embarrassing himself by saying Cindy is his mother only to not even participate in this lol.

lamontagne is a weird atalaku lol,has that "too chilled" vibe about him like blaise createur,even voice wise,but he compensate somehow with energy
one minute you want to think he is not good enough for such a big group then the next minute he surprises you

it was understandable i think the new timing is still failing a lot of musicians,because most dont have months of getting used to it before big concerts if it was still like the old formula,koffi could have even properly split the concert between the europe and kin guys instead of having almost everybody on stage
yannick dindo and herve de lille missed a big opportunity with how the singers time got longer before koffi came

Talking about JF, I thought about him when Quartier Latin came on stage hahahahahahaha. Big parts of the hall were still empty when Quartier Latin came on stage, but it was normal because at 9 PM there were still people on their way to ING Arena and also a traffic jam. Then when Cindy came the whole hall was full of people.
The way Koffi talked about his show at ING Arena in different interviews and ordering people to wear white clothes, felt like he would die there on stage. But I guess that it was a marketing strategy. Sometimes I wonder if marketing was Koffi's best course he ever followed in his younger years. I only still not get it why Cindy came in with Koffi's son and Koffi's daugther presenting Koffi on stage

koffi said that it was one of his dreams that his children introduce him on stage but only kenaya and manolo were available i think,minou has a decent important work in kin,then the london children,then those like youyou who have become a hardcore warrior ....

I still feel sorry for JR33 man hopefully there’ll be more concert where he can showcase his true potential, but at least Koffi presented him to the crowd.
Also I wish the singers were able to do solo dances in this concert

koffi's mic itself seems to have had issues for example when singing with soleil,what koffi sang was not audible for a lot of parts

lol some people love polemic so much,they went and found the price of kenaya's outfit which was slightly under 100 and compared her to didi stone
the irony with the didi stans,they so called defend her over her dad marrying the "employee" and wish that the old format should come back with didi at the center of everything around koffi even outshining her own mother,while it would mean no space for minou kenaya manolo and co which is not a good thing either but then again most of those women very vocal about siding with didi aliyah and saying koffi is the devil in person,would happily give koffi 3 rounds if they had the opportunity(some of them are actually bitter to have lost it since koffi settled fully with cindy)

That was a long time ago lol. Asso returned to the group in 2017 and had a vocal in the song Femme in the album Légende and has been living in Europe for 2 years now as Europe based QL member.

People are tearing this concert to pieces lol. A lot of people that watched it live and also attended are saying the concert wasn’t good.

some of the reviews are honest and some are clearly biased lol,i have come across 8 times today people debriefing and by the second sentence they threw in fally's name as in fally did this fally would not have done that so i am like okay needless to go till the end lol
overall i think context plays a lot in the good and the bad of all the concerts we have seen since the semi official and official return of the music,and people's expectation tend to not take into account a lot of factors of the context,and artists since all bar one have endured the whole ban fully are quite emotional and all over the place in the first one or two concerts
in koffi's case in particular one of the expectation which already went against him is i feel like a lot of people came with bercy in their mind,with a near fully unproven lineup but hungry and charismatic and found themselves,with those who stayed between the 2 3 versions of latino fashion,or recently joined up like mazembe and smoke,and the kin guys,but in a mindset for them to mainly have a shadow role
about cindy i was even tempted to do a thread because a cousin raised an interesting question,he said cindy became such an everpresent figure,not because of fally's heartbreak like the common thought seems to be,but because koffi is either a trendsetter or an elite trend follower,so with ferre and fally starting to rise in solo career koffi sensed that fally and ferre came with something self centered despite a couple of years of trying to do the traditional way and that coincidentally,what remained of the real quartier latin spirit,died in 2009 2010 exactly when both started to show signs that yes there is talent in their bands but they'll get a massive 12 in terms of the old formula of leader album group album year in year out
and cindy just found herself already in love with koffi long before his official divorce so he had no choice turning it into a duet

As a lifelong fan, I’m happy that Koffi pulled this concert after the hell we was put through, but man it was a tough concert to watch.
From the feed I saw, Cindy bored the audience by singing some recent songs the audience didn’t really know, the QL team(s) were a disjointed mess, and Lamontagne was trying but couldn’t do justice to the classic cris
Papa Mombimba makes me sick to my stomach nowadays. It seems whenever koffi senses the audience tuning out he flips to it as a back up
@Archos was Beniko’s Julia actually co-written by Koffi? The current team tends to perform it often during the concert opening. They completely butchered it as usual, so I can imagine that it must annoy Poplipo

Being active helps with longevity, but sometimes I think he needs to chill at his age - he has nothing to prove anymore. He’s stuck in the loop of trying to be at the forefront by any means necessary, but he’s made his life so public that the haters have a field day when it comes to the shots. Still strong. However, that strong backup he had in the QL1 and QL2 isn't there no more. Cindy to some extent has contributed to QL decline plus old age of mopao.

I think smaller artist get just scammed faster or are not so hungry as artist before.
Not everybody is made to be the main men but we should have more than just Fally, Ferre, Heritoer, Deplik, Fabregas….
