Indeed, Djodjo Ikomo had a music carer  spannnig a series of countries in Africa - East Africa (mainly Kenya), West Africa and also  in Europe with Franco and TP OK Jazz in the 1989-90's.

Before he joined Bana Ngenge, he was originally with Tabou National and then Orchestre Veve which he recorded Maina
