Was Savanet Depitcho originally meant to sing Mea Culpa, the song credited to Ridens Makosso in Force de Frappe? Or did he actually steal it? Back in the day, different bands would often rehearse songs they planned to release eventually. A few years ago, Soleil Wanga revealed in an interview with Ado Yuhe that Mea Culpa was a song he had written himself and that he gave it to Ridens Makosso out of friendship

Considering he smacked Soleil at rehearsal one time due to Soleils attitude I doubt soleil gave him the song lol. But then again maybe he was meant to sing it cause band members lie a lot in interviews claiming x y and z sing is originally theirs.
I sometimes wonder what Force De Frappe would’ve been like if Depitcho was still in the group and which band member wouldn’t have gotten a song even though the end product ended up being great.
Also Depitcho ended up singing one of Soleils vocals that he would do in concerts in the remix version of shopping

don't think Mamale would have had that many vocal parts in Force de Frappe if Depitcho had still been there. But it would indeed be interesting to know what his contribution to the album would have been. I have the same for JF Ifonge, I really wonder how the album would have sounded with him in it. Would he have convinced the public as singer, who mostly saw him as a dancer/spokesman or would people still have considered him an average singer, seeing his bad performances in various cassettes of different Kinshasa concerts ?

I’ve posted this before but I feel like this song might’ve been in Force De Frappe. It sounds like it would’ve fit in the album especially the chorus that tenorist sounds like Eric Tutsi.
If Depitcho Jf, and Deba O’Neil didn’t leave I wonder if it would’ve ended up being a double album and also if Mustapha originally had a song because it wouldn’t make sense if he didn’t have a song since everyone that sang in Attentat had a song but Jordan Kusa got a song last min but he didn’t participate in Attentat
