It is sad to see Sebaret like that. He's really hurt.
So the deception about Cherie Alpha, is the reason why Ping Pong decided to stay distant from everyone ? When Sebaret explained the story, made me realize that the song Amour Fou was about himself and him missing Cherie Alpha. That must really hurt, after 10 years finally being ready to go back to your country to marry ypur wife, but then hearing that she's pregnant.
It's crazy how artists were and still are paying sessions musicians 50/100 euros for each song, while they will benefit for life with the songs and albums they are recording. Seberat asking for 1500.euros to fully arrange an album is even peannuts. I really wonder who the artist was that started screaming when hearing that amount.
Reddy Amisi wasn't correct by not crediting Ping Pong as songwriter of Yves Makamu, while they already started performing it in concerts and just because of receiving money from Yves Makamu to use that song and add it to the Prudence-album

Lidjo Kwempa and Ikonola also paid triute to Ping Pong. I was really hoping to see Ping Pong one day getting interviewed by Mr la Rumba or Teddy Mola to talk about his past with Vonga Ye and his time in Viva la Musica (1980-1985/1987-1997). But it sadly didn't happen.

Thiking about the album Amour Fou. It is crazy how the album was released as Viva la Musica's album and not as Ping Pong solo-album, like the way Lutumba used to release albums within TP OK Jazz. The same for Timololo's album Mwana Matebu which was also released as a Viva la Musica album.

Alright, thank you. I have watched indeed the first part of the two interviews 2 years ago, but I didn’t know there existed the second interview.
