I still kick myself for not being able to attend from what I think was the best produced mega concert of our time for the genre. I still have my Attentat album I bought in late ‘99. These ticket slips came with the album (at least on version integrale) or the shops handed them out.
I was young at time, so I didn’t make a convincing argument to go to a Koffi concert till 5-6am

My dad went to the concert and said the vhs doesn’t do it justice and it was much better live and the crowd was loud and hyped. What a team that performed that night

This was a time when the show started at 23hr and they’d play songs nonstop till 5-6am curtain close (which is why a young band was essential). So a large number of songs we’ve haven’t heard.
Passi’s, Coumba Gawilo, Roga Roga etc full appearances never made the cuts. I once heard another sebene portion where future partions of Effrakata were played like in the opening generique
